Gamespot Review

MLB 2k9 = 4.5 Poor

MLB 2K9 is a deeply flawed funhouse-mirror distortion of baseball.

The Good

* Smooth multiplayer support.

The Bad

* Lots of little control problems add up to a huge amount of frustration

* Hit results can seem canned

* Crammed with bugs

* Homeruns are much too prevalent.

The Bad

Busted , Broken , Buggy

Disappointing

Poor Control

FOM 2k9 4.5 Poor

An obtuse interface makes MLB Front Office Manager bewildering even to baseball-sim veterans.

The Good

* Impressive depth for a console-centric sports management sim

* Good presentation values.

The Bad

* Absolutely abysmal interface

* Complete lack of personality when dealing with player transactions

* AI managers regularly make bizarre decisions.

The Bad

Steep Learning Curve

Terrible First Impression

No offense, but 2K would probably not care at all.

The patching process takes at least 5 weeks for any PC game.

Not only that, but they would need to have tons of bad emails, tons of bad supports, and people who say that they will never buy any 2k game ever again to think about another patch.

I am afraid that there are not many people who even bought the PC game, so I doubt they will care.

In my opinion, people should have read the reviews first before buying it.

I think they might have a patch in April, and at most May.

once 2k gets into the swing of patching the PC version, they might patch it 1st and use us as guinea pigs. The PC will be easier to patch and they can release smaller patches for the PC and when all goes well with like 3-4 PC patches release a big patch for the consoles

Another thing; If you're going to write them a letter you should probably use a proper format. Simply typing sentence-newline-sentence-newline-sentence, etc, etc with no paragraph structure what so ever is likely to not be taken seriously. Also don't use net-slang like ne1. The word is anyone and it's only three more keystrokes, don't be lazy when critiquing somebody else. I'm not trying to be and English teacher hear but if you want any chance of being taken seriously you need to put together something at least semi professional looking. The 2K forums are filled with post very similar to yours and like the previous poster said chances are you won't be responded to. If you want any chance of being heard and possibly responded to, you'll need to present yourself with a certain standard that business tend to expect. After all 2K is a business and not a bunch of kids sitting around playing games, so they are going to respond better if you act in a similar manner.

It doesnt matter

They banned me 2 minutes after I posted

Said something about a troll

I dont know what that means U guys?

Two minutes is fast.

That's okay though. This place is much better. Take off your shoes, sit down and enjoy. :D

And as was said before, I'm sure it'll take a little while to come up with a patch and it's more or less easy to come out with Patches for Window Games. This is their first crack at a Baseball game for Windows [in this series] so I'm sure it'll only get better. Just give it some time.

Seriously febbrezio....you make good points, just word them so those people in charge take note of them. I guess what I am trying to say is that don't post this letter for forum members. Post it so 2k themselves see it. Explain yourself better. Take your time.

Wow thanks

That actually describes exactly how everyone describes me lol

I do like evoking emotion it brings the truth and sometimes str8 madness out of people

That wasn't my point I just wanted to know what they felt about a 4.5 Rating

They of course were pissed and in 2 minutes shut my post down

LoL

ferrarienzo3,

If you put sentences one after another rather than with a line break in between each one they make paragraphs. Paragraphs are nice. People prefer reading paragraphs over broken text. Try posting in a manner that doesn't give readers a headache and people might listen to you.
