Hey. New to this, just got the game and the new mod installed. Questions about controls.

Just installed MVP, downloaded the MVP 2015 mod .

Love it, everything's great but now as far as the controls go i'm really confused.

I plugged in my Xbox controller... it worked but now here are the problems i'm getting

1. The game randomly pauses when i'm using the joystick on defense to run for the ball it seems.

2. I can't figure out how to adjust the controls. It just says things like BTN(1) BTN(2) . I don't know how to coordinate those to the controller.
By chance is there a custom controller setup someone has already made?

Any help is really appreciated it.
