Hey Homer, what does that have to do with him wanting a 1998 mod?

That was what I was wondering. I'm guessing this wasn't the correct forum to put the thread in, but all I was doing was asking for some help with getting things rolling for a 1998TCMod.

Sorry if I've rubbed you the wrong way, because it wasn't my intention.

My guess is that Homer misread your post and thought that you wanted a 1988 mod (which already exists) and not a 1998 mod.

I actually created the whole 1998 Yankees team
http://www.mvpmods.c...p;showfile=2753
Total Classic only use the roster base on playing time so some of my face was never used like Homer Bush etc...
Plus there was a High Quality 98 World Series Yankees uniform that total classic didn't include in their mod.

Btw What happen to the preview pic of my mod?

Andy I'm upset. I had a lot more great backdrounds but I can't find them on a link which is my only hope.
But here is a few and a throwback logo file you may need to update a bit.

I know that we included most, if not all, of your faces in Total Classics. As you said, the roster was created based upon playing time, and that is the main "rule" I've used when creating rosters for the Total Classic single season mods. I'll have to see what we have for a uniform assigned to the '98 Yankees currently, because I really do like your World Series uniform.

The picture of your mod probably got lost when Trues modified the website format and moved to new forum and download tools.

Phew! For a minute I thought I'd pissed someone off lol.

@baseballfans & MILKMANANT: Thanks, they will be quite a bit of help, especially the NYY cyberfaces because the one thing I've not had much experience in game modding is with Cyberfaces.

If you look at the Total Classics 9 mod, you will probably find a fair number of faces that you will be able to use. The following teams are included which probably have material you can use:

1997 Mariners
1997 Marlins
1998 Padres
1998 Yankees
1999 Indians
2000 Mets
2001 Diamondbacks

We included an MVPEdit .mbe file with Total Classics, so if you open it up and look at these teams, you can find the cyberfaces assigned to the players. You can then extract those faces from the Total Classics 9 models.big file and import them to your models.big file. I would also suggest that you download Homer's Classic Face Pack 10.0 -- http://www.mvpmods.c...p;showfile=3742

There are probably faces in there that you can use as well.

I can't believe this. I was working on the roster when my computer crashed, and for some reason, I've lost all the progress I had made on the Diamondback, meaning I'm having to redo the team.

I know I mentioned it in the first post, but if anyone is up for helping with roster creation I'd [b]more than happy[b] because with the amount of detail I'm putting into the ratings and so on, it's taking me well over a day to get one team to be put together with ratings (Without any of the cyberface, audio, portraits stuff).

I've got a 1998 roster that's all made out. I just need to fix ratings and birthdates on some of the minor leaguers. If you want it, just drop me a PM and I can email it to you. I've also tried my hand at uniform modding, and I'm working on the audio aspects of the rest of the mod now. But the roster is the only thing I feel comfortable with releasing now.

Ok, well a the moment it seems nothing has materialized so unless the roster arrives by early tommorow I'm going to restart with creating the roster.

Not intending to sound rude but I can'l let things slide too much.
