I tell you what sir...I love your Dynasty/Season presentations. You always have some creative ideas and I like how you cover many different sports. Your Dallas Stars season is how I discovered the NHL 2004 Rebuilt project this past year and I think it's the best hockey video game I've ever played. Looking forward to more of your NBA 2K Association! :good:

Thanks Dennis, I'm really enjoying this new frontier of 2K. For whatever reason I stopped following basketball a few years ago but now I'm back into it and enjoying the sport again. I'm glad you're along for this crazy ride.

In what was expected to be the Lakers most challenging match up of the young season, Los Angeles blew out the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday, a team that entered the Staples Center undefeated at 7-0. Kobe Bryant had his best performance of the season, scoring 43 points.

your presentations are getting better and better. :good:

I agree with Dennis. Love the NBA franchise idea, haven't seen much here over the years, or NFL franchises for that matter. Obviously we're on a baseball site, but it's still refreshing.

BTW, GRS, you using Photoshop or some other program? Those game graphics are top notch.

Enhance - Auto Sharpen and I use a technique I learned from one of your Photoshop threads where you gave tips. Duplicate layer - Overlay - Gaussian blur (~ 80%) opacity).

Honestly, I don't drastically change the photos, but instead give them a slight enhancement. The graphics in the game are pretty much as phenomenal as they look here.

Yeah, I agree with Jay...I was wondering GRS are those effects on the screenie in Photoshop or is that in the ENB you're using for 2K13? If that's an ENB, please tell me which one it is; because about 150 to choose from. :good:

No, I don't use ENB, just some minor Photoshop effects. The screenshots closely resemble gameplay for the NBA 2K series.

Here's another small tip, GRS. If your pic is a bit too dark, or light, you can use the Image > Adjustments > Curves tool.

Using that tool, I lightened one of your pics up a bit. Keep in mind, your pics look fantastic as they are, but I thought I'd just share this bit of info with you in case you ever wanted to use it.

Your pic from your franchise:

I went through the same steps that you did, but took the pic and just lightened it up a bit with the Curves tool:

Anyway, again, I love what you're doing with this, and it sounds like you're really getting into PS. This example may be a preference thing, everyone sees everything a bit different, but if you ever want to share tips, etc., give me a shout. :)

JR, this is brilliant work, you're really helping me out here with PS. I know this is technically a dynasty thread, but I'd be more than happy if you continued to give me help along the way with graphics and such.

The curves tool will definitely be useful going forward - but I didn't do much with the Beasley photo because that screenshot is actually from a post-game highlight reel where the game edits the image itself (darker filter, etc.) which you can probably see. I typically like to leave those alone - and instead only edit photos from instant replays.
