cujomatty Posted January 21, 2015 Share Posted January 21, 2015 I recently bought a HP stream 8 tablet and installed mvp 05 on it. (I own a legit copy for Pc). The game ran on the tablet after install. I moved all my mods from my laptop which runs the game perfectly. The tablet mvp crashes when going into a game on the load screen. I reinstalled then added 1 mod at a time and finally figured out it was the portraits.big file causing a crash. I then did a fresh install and I Installed the 08 mod and the portrait.big file crashed it again. both work on my laptop. Any ideas what might be causing the portraits file to crash on the tablet. I can play the game with all my mods just obviously no one has a photo which isn't the end of the world but id like to fix it. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Gordo Posted January 22, 2015 Share Posted January 22, 2015 Well, you're asking about how to make a program work on a piece of technology for which it was not designed. Portrait.big contains compressed .fsh files. .fsh files are also compressed in other types of files, so from that standpoint it doesn't make sense. cujomatty Posted January 22, 2015 Author Share Posted January 22, 2015 I got it working I used TIT and just downloaded portraits and installed from scratch instead of dragging over from my laptop version.. Also I see what your saying about the technology but tablets that run on windows technology really aren't that different than laptops. That's why I bought a windows compatible tablet.
