  1. Tried to download and receive file not found. Is BSUFAN still around? Thanks for any help.
  2. Mystery solved. I did install an older version of MVP 07. Installed the latest and it works great. Thanks to all who took time to reply.
  3. I have my versions mixed? I'm running on memory that is best beer soaked. MVP06 and 07 had horrible stutters. If I remember correctly it was the Uni's and several stadiums that were the culprits. I recall in 06 I replaced all the stadiums with the originals and gameplay became smoother. Kraw I believe thought it was a data compression issue. Anyway, thanks to all that have replied and also for keeping this game alive. I just downloaded MVP 13 and the game play is flawless.
  4. So I assume this version had the reboot changes added to it. Thanks for the info.
  5. Well had to rebuild an XP machine and whiel restoring the different environments for versions of MVP - I can't MVP07 Reboot. Does anybody know where I can find it or is it hopelessly lost since EAMODS took a powder? Thanks.
  6. I just got MVPedit to work. I downloaded COMDLG32.OCX and mscomctl.ocx and copied them into my C: windows/syswow directory. Ran MVPedit and it works. Now I have to remember how to use the program.
  7. Holy Hell - I don't hit these forums that often anymore but just read through your ordeal. What a nightmare. I'm glad that it sounds like you are back on the recovery track. Best wishes to you!

usually indicative of a roster or stadium issue. Have you loaded any other Mods?

Same here. I loaded MVP 2005 on a laptop with Win 7 home and set the program to run as Adminstrator and compatability mode as Win XP SP 2. It starts fine but gets choppy. I notice when an on screen graphic appears like 'safe' - 'out' or whatever it delays the screen - if that makes any sense, I loaded MVP 06 on a fresh install of MVP2005 and it seems worse. The onboard grahics card is a Nvidia 650M and I've jacked with all the settings - doesn't seem to correct it. Good luck.
  10. Place it in your save file. On a win 7 system it is usually in your USERS directory - ussr name/appdate/roaming
  11. Yeah I can - I'm playing my way up to 08 them eventually give 12 a try. Thanks.
  12. I guess it's 2 of us. I even reloaded the 2006 schedule and got a little but further. It's a devastating hang since you you can't cntl/alt/del out. Oh well. On to 2007.
  13. I've checked the forums and havew read about all the various crashes etc. but have yet to hear anybody identify this one. While simulatijng games in 06 the game gets stuck on the simulating screen and MVP 2005 seems to go in a loop. Usually I can't even cnty/alt/del to get the Task Manager up to kill the process. I have to reboot since the simulating screen locks the screen. On one occasion I was able to see the Task Manager and mvp 2005 is still running - it has about 75% of yhe CPU consumed. Any ideas out there on how to resolve? Thanks in advance.
