I have only been there to visit a buddy who goes to the university. There is not crap to do off campus in that city. The mall is lame and the downtown is a drag. Luckily when I have visited there has been a party on campus. However I was thoroughly bored when I looked for things to do in the day time in that city.

I just cant believe how the tune is changed once this site needs to be paid for. Everyone jumped down spungos throat and it was the same deal. Economy sucks and he needed cash. Just like Trues. Good thing Kraw came to his defense as did a few others. But this completely different reaction from the community is beyond me, when essentially both were the same thing. I dont care if one was pay per mod and ones per for the site. You are paying for mods in the end regardless. *sigh* Hope both Spungo and Trues get the donations they need to get through these tough times.

I have to agree that this makes no sense, and I looked at the splits on baseball ref, just to make sense of it. Other than Arod having a few less doubles between 05 and 07, then hes been a better power hitter all around and theres no reason why he does not have a 100 pwr rating. I dig the rosters but there are many inconsistencies in it. Like ramon castro with 78 power? what lol O wells just gota fix it ourselves. Plus developer ratings are always by far worse in baseball games.

Maybe KG looked up NPB numbers. If so kudos, as fukodome was quite the lad over in Nippon =P. I think its only fair to do that seeing as hes been playing top level pro ball in his country and has no history over here. And if you see his numbers for the last few years, then KG is on the money. 2005 .328 2006 .351 2007 .294

To be honest after looking thru the rosters and reading some of these posts, I feel like Im cheating in game sometimes depending on what team I use. Oh well, KG we know you work hard on these so I am happy with the rosters as there isnt much for alternatives right now. More realism would be nice though=P, but hey all you guys. Could we not just tone down these players ourselves anyways?

I wish Konami would start developing more American games. I dont know why they have slowed down US development, as they did do alot back in old gaming generations. And had some good games. I agree with you though KC. I dont like cursors. I turn off batting cursors in all baseball games I ever play if the option is there. What do you mean by timers though?

The PS3 luckily needs no mods for different region games and can play US and Nippon games fine. This game seems identical to the Show but just with the NPB league. One thing I must say that I like in this game over the show is that your batting icon is only as long and wide as your bat. No circles hear. Im not sure if this makes the hitting harder in the game seeing as it gives you a realistic batting ability with the icon, But im guessing it can possibly be more of a visual thing than actually affecting hits. You can watch the hitting in the first video, which is the 3rd game version. Video two is Pro Yakyuu Spirits 5 which just came out in May. I must say the one thing I didnt like is that you see a pitch cursor showing movement after the pitch is released. I guess this is to make it easiser to hit the ball with that small bat sized cursor. What are you guys thoughts who have played any next gen baseball.
