Jim825 & Eazip

@Jim825

OK, here's where I'm at. I attached a picture of my screen. Top left is the "Command Prompt" window I'd opened. Top right is the folder where I'd placed the updated EY Jr. cyberfaces. Bottom left is 7-Zip, where I extracted the eazip zip file. Bottom right is a Windows Explorer window where I attempt to launch eazip from.

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, I just can't figure out how to run the eazip utility in my command prompt window. I hate to ask for step by step, but I feel like that's the only way I'm going to get it right. Thanks again for all of your help & time. I really appreciate it.

Have you ever used the Command Prompt before?

As I mentioned in my PM, you have to copy the eazip.exe file to folder that contains your models.big and .fsh files. It doesn't look like you did that. You can do that from Windows Explorer.

When you do that, go back to the command prompt and issue the change directory (cd) command to go to the folder where your eazip.exe, models.big and .fsh files are. It would be something like this:

cd <path where the files are>

It would probably be easier if you just created a new subfolder named something like "MVP_work" in your main C drive folder. You can do this in Windows Explorer. After that, copy the eazip.exe, the models.big and the .fsh files to the MVP_work folder.

Go to the command prompt and issue the command:

cd c:MVP_work

Now you can issue the command I gave you before:

eazip +a models.big c823.*

I don't know how much simpler I can explain this.

You've done a great job. It is just my learning how to do this that is the problem. Just to be clear, when you say that the "models.big" & ".fsh files"...the only place I have a "models.big" file is in C:Program Files (x86)EA SPORTSMVP Baseball 2005data. Do I copy the file from there to the C:MVP_work folder?

Question 2, regarding the ".fsh files"...do you mean the 3 files from "Eric Young Jr.rar"...which are "c823.fsh", "c823.ord" & "c823.orl", or something else?

The way you have written it, I'm interpreting that in this "MVP_work" folder should be:
eazip.exe
models.big
c823.fsh
c823.ord
c823.orl

THEN go to the command prompt & do:

cd c:MVP_work

eazip +a models.big c823.*

Hopefully I have correctly interpreted all of this. I am so sorry to be a bother at all, just trying to get this fixed up. I really really appreciate all of your help & bearing with me on this. Thanks again.

You interpreted this correctly. I meant to say to copy all of the c823 files, not just the .fsh file.

Your screenshot showed that you have a copy of models.big in your MVP13BIGUI & EY Jr. Files folder. That's where I thought you were copying everything from.

If the models.big in your MVP Baseball 2005data folder is the one you want to modify, then that is the one to copy to the MVP_work folder. After you've added the face with eazip, copy the modified models.big file back to the MVP Baseball 2005data folder (making sure to backup your original file first!).
