Instead of having to wait until someone who has a subscription is online, there's a much better way, to do it yourself!

Step 1:

Take this main code, which happens to be for Doug Miribelli.

Step 2: Go on MLB.com and find the player page for the player you want to get the photo of. I chose Jose Reyes... http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/team/player....layer_id=408314 Step 3: Take the player id from the player page (408314 in this example for Reyes) and put it in where the number was in the Miribelli picture. Note: I have heard that there aren't any Angels or Diamondbacks on the site yet, I haven't confirmed it, though.

I found this out weeks ago. It's a nice way to get portraits. Hopefully no one from MLB is a member here or they will fix the loophole.

BTW, who told you about this??

I was just looking at the request thread and saw that the pics were directly linked, and with a ID. I figured the ids would be good across the site, so some fiddling and voila!

I knew about this first. And I have proof.

I bet your mother is proud. See, the difference is not only that he doesn't care who posted it first because he just wants to help the community, but that futzy99 posted it in public for everyone to use, whereas you only informed another person of it via PM. So, when you spread the knowledge, you help 1 person. When futzy99 posted it, he helped anyone who wishes to have the information.

Thank you, futzy99.

having said that there is now a risk that MLB will get wind, if people are spending hours looking through the pics?

Having said that I found a pic I wanted ;)

any ideas on the hair colour, or can you even tell who it is supposed to be?
