I. Forum rules
These items are The Law. Violations of the rules will result in immediate action by moderators or admins no matter who you are.
- You are expected to read and be familiar with the Rules.
Failure to abide by the rules will result in warnings and bans.
- The following items are prohibited: (This includes providing
direct links to any of the following as well).
- Pornography or sexual material of any kind. There is no place for that here.
- Illegal files (music, warez, CD cracks/codes, etc...)
- Hate speech in any form (including racism, sexism, etc...)
- Profanity, especially in subject lines (You all know the ones)
- Spamming multiple copies of your thread.
- Hijacking threads
The moderators reserve the right to decide what qualifies as spam. Linking to outside websites, or putting them in your signature, is accepted, but please do not start topics dedicated to promoting them unless approved by an admin.
- No representation of profanity or sexual material,
either in textual or graphical format.
- MVPmods Reserves the right to edit, suspend, terminate
or ban an account at any time, for any reason, without warning, notification, or explanation.
- Only one username per user please.
There is really no good reason to have more than one username. If you get suspended or banned for some reason and decide to just create another account please be aware that there are ways to track you by your ip address. This will result in your ip being banned from the entire site.
Any user caught creating a duplicate account or found to have a duplicate account will be suspended for 90 calendar days. This long ban is meant to discourage the creation of secondary accounts. If you are someone that has a duplicate account, you are encouraged to PM any mod on the staff and we will ban your secondary account but you will not have your first account banned and you will not be banned from the website at all. That is if you PM someone on the staff. If your account is discovered by us, you will have that 90 day ban.
If you don't have one of these, you have nothing to worry about.

II. Forum Etiquette
These items are not law, but rather suggestions. However, multiple violations
of these items may force action to be taken by the staff.
- Pointing out Spelling/Grammar errors isn't necessary.
The best way to improve the overall presentation of the forums is not to post in every poorly written thread complaining about it. Instead, practice what you preach: try to write reasoned, well-thought out, well-written posts.
- Post count, length of time on the forums, or any other means of measurement does not absolve you of responsibility.
If anything, we expect long-term members to behave in a more mature fashion, and help make these forums a great place for discussion with gamers!
- You're not a moderator.
So there's no need to post in someone's topic saying "This will be closed soon!" or "why did you write this?" or demanding that the moderators close the topic or ban the member. In fact, this is one of the quickest and easiest ways to get on the moderators bad sides. There's nothing more unpleasant than having someone else tell you how to do your job.
If someone is being exceedingly disruptive, feel free to bring it to a moderators attention via private messaging or email.
- You do not have the right to insult/attack/etc someone for ANY reason.
People are going to ask questions that have already been asked, bring up topics that have already been discussed, and so forth. These things happen. If you're not interested in the topic at hand, simply don't post!
Violation of this item may cause a staff member to take action.
- Try to stay on topic.
- When posting attachments, images (screenshots, etc...) Please limit these to a max width of 800 pixels.
- Bumping threads is not a good idea especially if it's your own. Please have patience. You will be warned if you are caught doing this.
-In discussion forums of this nature, typing with the CAPS lock on is considered shouting. Please show respect to your fellow forum members and ensure your Caps lock button is OFF before you post. Posts written entirely in CAPS will be removed.
- Please try and restrict the use of 'internet shorthand' where possible as many forum members do not have English as their first language and posts written entirely in abbreviations can be confusing.
Questions, comments, or suggestions on the rules? Contact a moderator or admin.
MOST IMPORTANTLY -RESPECT YOUR FELLOW FORUM MEMBERS AND HAVE FUN!
