It's taken a longer than expected because of Fuzz' sudden retirement and his transfer of all TC assets to Ted Dibiase. I have to say that it caught all of us on the TC team by surprise..... :o

AstroEric - If you need another player, I'd suggest Graig Nettles (a personal favorite of mine growing up) who had a great glove and won the 1976 AL Homerun title with 32 (!) homeruns.....

Personally, I think #50 should be Mr. Baseball, Bob Eucker. It'd be great to see all these stats from the best players in history, then Eucker's .200 career BA.

But, that's just me. Ooh, or you should put in the midget that Veeck had for a game.

If you give me a list of 50 players, I can do the loading screens as seen in the MVP 2006 forum for TC4, as a supplemental package.

Stipulation: The list has to include at least two Astros. And no Joe Morgan.

--Eric

no to Joe all together, or just no for him counting as an Astro?

Hmm. I'm tempted to say the former, but I meant no counting him as an Astro.

Somehow I don't think #34 fits the Total Classic Theme.

What about Nellie Fox or Warren Spahn?

Or did Ted Dibiase buy his spot on the list. :D

Sorry if this has been answered already, but I couldn't find the answer.

Do I need to download/install the previous phases of TC to get TC Phase 4 to work? I'd like to try it out not need to download all 4 Phases.

yeah u dont need tc1,2,or 3. Each TC phase is standalone, so u can grab tc3 which is available now or wait a bit for tc4.

Uh Ted- Just checking, but what happened to "On this site by Monday!"? :o

Of course I am just kidding. I can wait as long as I need to. Thanks in advance to everyone connected to this project. I'm sure it will be awesome.

Working with Mr. Dibiase has been a bit more "challenging" than working with Fuzz ever was.

Mr. Dibiase had thought about outsourcing the beta testing to a firm in Bangalore, India (to cut costs), but luckily the TC team banded together and we were able to convince him to keep the testing on U.S. soil.

It shouldn't take us too long (hopefully) to finish the testing. Once we're done and it's released, you can consider TC4 the TC team's Christmas (or Hannakuh or Kwanza or Festivus or Saturnalia or Winter Solstice or [substitute suitable seasonable holiday here]) gift to the MVPMods community. :D

testing things out to make sure there aren't any problems, updating a few last minute things, and ofcourse there was the 489-man vote we had to tally to see which one would be approved:

thanks nyy_rich, none of this could be done without the team.

i think everyones going to be really satisfied with tc4. definitely better than TC3 in so many ways you'll notice almost immediately after the first game.

didn't get any themes in this time around, hopefully astroeric will take care of that.

tc4 is done folks, waiting on tony to get back to me regarding a little something and then will upload.

should be a few hours, tonight, but no matter what happens -- nothing should prevent this from being up on the site by tomorrow.

word to the wise: don't underestimate starting pitchers with an arsenal of only 2 pitches.lol
