Try the enbseries mod for HDR in MVP Baseball. No joke. Link is here. Also works with most EA sports games. Use the ini to adjust the intensity.

Note to get it work, you must use this version!!!

"GTA ViceCity v0.005 - DX8 version of the mod."

Also works with GTA, GTR2, rfactor, Madden Football, NBA Live. Look for screenshots on google and vids on youtube. Playing with HDR is so much fun.

For newbies, to start with UseEffect=1 to turn on everything by default or else use hotkey. Also play with BloomQuality=2 or 3

Guys, don't be afraid to try this. It is only 2 files in the MVP directory! d3d8.dll and enbseries.ini. Don't like it, then delete the 2 files. Plus you can turn on and off with hotkeys.

The default hotkey for turning on and off the effects is shift-f12.

If it is too bright, then try these settings in the bloom section to tone it down. The key variables are BloomPowerDay and BloomPowerNight.

[bLOOM]

BloomPowerDay=10

BloomFadeTime=1600

BloomConstantDay=1

BloomQuality=3

BloomScreenLevelDay=20

BloomCurveDay=2

BloomPowerNight=20

BloomConstantNight=5

BloomCurveNight=0

BloomScreenLevelNight=10

BloomAdaptationScreenLevel=80

BloomAdaptationMultiplier=5

BloomAllowOversaturation=1

Maybe someone can tweak these settings for MVP.

I have tried this mod with about 10 of my games, and I can't get enough of it. The HDR is much more impressive in racing games, but I really like the depth of field in MVP.

I agree Catz! Especially after playing 08 WOW!! That would have been like 3 games we would have had to buy, instead we have these AMAZING modders, who generously donate their time and skills for the benefit of the PC baseball community...I mean come on, get with 05 or would that be 08? :)
