Okay, I know I am weird for doing this, but follow me anyway.

Dusty Baker has been the manager of the Giants, Cubs, and now Reds.

In his 4 years with the Cubs, he won 322 games, and lost 326.

In his first 4 years with the Reds he won 322 games, and lost 326.
...
Here is where it gets both complicated, and a little strange:

In his first 4 years with the Giants, he was involved in a strike year, and a lock out year ('94 they only played 115 games, and in '95, they only played 144). If you do some math, based on winning percentages, in '94 they would have won 77 games if they played out the full season, and in '95, they would have won 75 games.

Based on those totals, in his first 4 years with the Giants, they would have won 323, and lost 325.

Let's recap:
Giants: 323-325
Cubs: 322-326
Reds: 322-326

Pretty good job for coming up with this emath. What I got out of this was that wherever Baker goes he is mediocre. And if you are a fan you don't want this guy managing your team. I could of course be wrong.

Only thing I can say about that is, after his first few years in SF, they started winning. Granted, Bonds started juicing soon after, so that may explain part of it, but they did win consistently for about 5 seasons.

Now, I still wouldn't want him though. He has been a pitcher killer everywhere he has gone.
