Help Installing 1915

Hi guys, I'm newish around here and I've searched for the instructions for loading the 1915 mod on the 2005 game. I can't seem to figure it out (I'm not really savvy, admittedly).

Can anybody give me some guidance? I keep getting an "access denied" response when I try to extract the files.

Thanks!

Joe

There is a README included with the mod. In addition, there are instructions on the mod's download page:

INSTALLATION NOTES
Just follow the README file and you’ll be fine.

*README for Total Classics Baseball 1915*
-After you have downloaded the "Total Classics 1915" zip file; double-click to open it.
-Extract the contents of the zip into a folder.
-Double-click the "explodeme' 7z file
-Find the location of a CLEAN copy of MVP Baseball 2005 and click "Extract".
-Allow the program to extract all of the new content.
-Play the new Total Classics 1915 mod.

Also, we need a little more information:

  • What operating system are you running - Windows XP? Windows 7? Windows 8?
  • When you say you get "access denied" when extracting the files, in which step above does that happen -- when you extract the contents of the Zip file? when you double click on the explodeme file?

Thanks Jim. I'm running Windows 7 Professional. I'm not seeing the "explode me file" I've read the instruction a few times and I'm just not getting something right.

When I download the mod, it wants to extract to C Program Files(x86)Ea SportsTotal Classics 1915

Hit next and I get the window that states that the following error has occurred, access denied.

Well that takes care of that. Hmm

Is this is the first total conversion mod you have attempted to install? I'm asking this because I was wondering if you had trouble with any of the other ones.

I put the 1927 conversion on my PC without any issues. I can't seem to figure out how to put multiple mods on the same computer. This one is going on my laptop as I'm heading out of town for a week and have really been itching to try this. I've read the instructional threads and scoured everything I can before posting, but I'm not doing something right, and I'm sure it's an easy fix, but I'm stumped. Maybe I haven't installed the clean copy of the game right? Although now I'm looking for the steps to do that and see if that's what the problem is.

If you installed the 1927 mod with no problem then you should be able to get one because Jim made the installer for both of them. The same thing you did in installing the '27 mod is also true here.

Please go to for a very detailed description on how to install multiple mods. I should know, I wrote it.

You ALWAYS need a clean copy of the game to install any of the season mods. Again, check that thread on how to install multiple mods.
