Draft Pick (1/10)

  1. Hey guys, I've been playing this game for years and have loved every second of it. I've been playing with a wired xbox 360 controller that has finally decided to break. I don't exactly have a ton of money and can't afford a new one right now. I do however have an xbox one controller, which is now compatible with the PC. I was wondering if anyone knew how to configure it specifically for this game. Xpadder didn't work, though I have no idea why not. Clicking in the left stick is supposed to intentional walk, but instead pauses the game, I can't aim outside of the strike zone, etc.... I was wondering if anyone out there is playing with an xbox one controller, or if anyone knows how to take the xbox 360 config file and make it work for the one controller (I have no idea why that doesn't work). Thanks in advance.
  2. Nope, I just have the top 3 files.. Perhaps a fresh reinstall will help lol. Edit - Nothing. The reinstall brought back the missing files, but replacing them does nothing at all. The game is still reading base up phase 2, though as far as I know those files are no where on my computer. If anyone has experienced anything like this at all, please help me out here. Second Edit (Final) - I looked at the dat files and saw that they said they were last edited july 17th, which is when I edited them. That meant that the downloaded files weren't over writing them at all, having last been edited ten days later. I decided to extract the files to my desktop, then cut and paste them over the old files. That did the trick, and now I have the correct rosters. Anyone else who is having the problem I was, I suggest trying that out, as my problem seems to be solved entirely.
  3. That's the part thats getting me here. I don't see any dat files anywhere, and I remember when I did this with the last rosters I did exactly what you said. The database folder only has resign, rookie.big, and schedule.big. There's nothing else in there, but the game has to be loading something, right?
  4. Put this in the review section, got rightfully directed here. Hopefully someone can help me out. What am I doing wrong here? If I use TiT to install this, when it is complete it brings me to some 404 page, when i go into the game it has the previous rosters I installed. If I try to install the files manually into c - program files (x64) - EA Sports - MVP Baseball 2005 - Data - Database then it just loads the previous rosters I downloaded. Also, there are no roster files in the database file at all, so I don't even know where the game is loading them from. Is there another folder hidden somewhere that I don't know about? The roster it is loading is your last roster, the baseup phase 2. I'm also running this on windows 8, though idk if that makes a difference or anything. the baseup roser is also loaded if I hit reset roster, but I think that's kind of the point lol. As of right now I'm playing with an edited version of that roster where i created a sh*t version of urrutia and messed up a bunch of stuff with trades and calling up the wrong people opposed to real life and what not. Any feedback from anyone would be grand.
  5. Sorry about that. Not a regular poster so I didn't even see that. If this work is anything like your previous work though then you're the man! You've kept me from having to play 2k mlb and kept this game alive for me big time

  7. Update on that, the color list file from last years uniform mod loads with the new uniforms and seems to be working fine, though I normally just play as the O's vs. whoever they're facing in real life, so my experiences have been limited
  8. So I used you pack for last years uniforms and everything worked fine, but when I attempt to use these I experience a problem. When I go to import the color list file, an error message occurs saying "Index was outside the bounds of the array." I'm not sure if this is a problem caused by my computer or windows 8 or what, any help?
  9. So all I need is this file and all the faces will install themselves right? Are any of the player attributed edited, or does it just add the faces? (Which is amazing itself btw, nothing more annoying than updating each individually.)
  10. Okay, I'm a noob at this so I probably did this wrong. Just got a copy of this game today and am using a .bat file some guy made to fix the glitch error. I downloaded your roster and put it in: c drive -> Program files (x86) -> 2k Sports -> MLB 2k12 folder, where all of the other files are. However, when I load up the game and go to the load section, the only roster there is the default one. I also downloaded Raider's portrait pack and put it in the same folder. I'm on a windows 8, 64 bit system if that means anything, what am I doing wrong? Edit: Nevermind, for some reason when I read it I didn't grasp the concept that the saves go to appdata.. No problem here, working now.
