Thanks. Last piece of troubleshooting info - this is a clean install with patch #2, then MVP13 and no other mods yet.

I recently switched to a Win7 64bit home premium desktop and I'm having this 'disappearing box' problem as well. Tried running both MVP and Schedule Updater as admin, also tried changing compatibility settings - no good. I pulled the updater from the 'MVP94' mod as that was the only location I could find it these days... don't know if that will make a difference.

Exactly - another example as to why I want to adjust the system. When starting a dynasty the CPU auto sorts the rosters based on overall rating. You wind up with a bullpen full of minor-league SP's while your star relief corps is playing AAA or below - the formula favors stamina way too much, among other things. You could artificially deflate the player's ratings to keep him in the proper league, but then performance would suffer. Or we could find a way to adjust how a player's overall rating is calculated. It has to be somewhere, as different positions place more emphasis on certain criteria.

I've been digging through the .big files, mainly ROOKIE.big, searching for the matrix that computes a player's overall rating based on his variables. No luck... any ideas? I wanted to tweak how different positions are computed - for example LF only takes into consideration batting and no fielding or speed.

Two question: I've looked through the FAQ and did a forums search but came up with nothing conclusive, so... 1) Is it possible to move minor league teams? ex: Mobile Bay Bears are now AA-Arizona. I looked through MVPEdit and didnt find any tools for that. 2) I went to the baseball statistics page link that everyone posts to get the Lahman database, but everything looked like it was something you order. Is there a different link/file that you use with MVPEdit? Thanks for your help and I apologize if this info has been posted already.
