Not really a minor league stats guy...but in my franchise(Cubs) Kyle Hendricks took a perfect game into the 7th, before leaving with a back injury.(thankfully only out for 4 days) He couldn't miss the entire game. It was like watching Greg Maddux out there. Only to watch the bullpen screw it all up and give up 2 runs. Also, Jason Hammel can't seem to get out of a single inning without giving up multiple hits and/or runs. So, I traded him to San Diego for Tyson Ross.

Personally, I switched to this game because I got a new computer and it has Windows 8 and I just can't get MVP working. Tried everything before finally just giving up. Having a lot of fun with this and it looks fantastic. Took a little time to adjust to the analog hitting(the classic hitting was just bad). Once I changed it to classic, pitching was simple and has made the game much more fun. One thing though...curious if anyone else ever got this bug to happen. I created a My Player...ran through for awhile, no issues. When I got called up to the Majors(on the Cubs)...I noticed that Austin Jackson's name had changed to Austin Boone, the last name of my player. The audio never changed, he was still referred to as Austin Jackson...but the game changed his last name. It's weird. Not game breaking(he was let go in the offseason, so I don't even worry about it anymore). And in my franchise and the roster itself...his name is Austin Jackson. Strange little bug.

Wondering if anyone here has come across this issue...and if they were able to fix it. Been playing the game for awhile using the 2013 TC mod, and Grmpr's rosters. Everything has been going fine since last year. Over the past week or so..I have been dealing with an extremely annoying issue. My fielders keep sliding for no reason. All I am doing is holding the analog stick to make them run, and they keep sliding on their butts like they are trying to catch a pop fly. It's kind of a pain and has resulted in numerous times where I have had to just quit the game and try to play again. Only to have the same thing happen again. I'm using an Xbox controller, using the same controller config that I have used since last summer. I have deleted the file, went back into game so it re-created it. Altered the config file again. I have even uninstalled my controller drivers and re-installed them. So far...nothing works. Anyone else come across this? How did you fix it? Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

Hey, I wasn't trying to bash anyone or their work. I know how daunting it is. I have done roster updates for other games before. I was just trying to point out something that the creators of the update may not have realized. Believe me, I spent an entire month doing an update once...only to be told that I completely forgot to update 1 of the teams. I do, however, apologize for the wording of my previous post. Saying "re-done completely" was just wrong. I should have said "fixed" or "adjusted". I really do like this roster. It's the best one I have seen so far.

Wanted to make a small note. I'm a huge Cubs fan..and so I really only have checked them out. The Chicago Cubs rosters really need to be re-done completely. The MLB club is fine..but once you get into the minor leagues...a HUGE amount of players are there that simply are not even on any of the teams. Missing ALOT of players.(quite a few of their more well known prospects even) Once all the rearrangement is done, call ups/send downs, FA signing, etc, the Daytona Cubs have almost no players. Just thought I would toss this in there.
