  1. universal grass changer v1.1

universal grass minimizer ver. 1.1 This mod will replace the grass in EVERY stadium with a minimized texture that should eliminate all shimmering grass. This version is really looking pretty solid - I think even people who are having little or no shimmering might want to give this one a try. It definitely gives a cleaner and (imho) a more pleasing look to the game. New for ver1.1: 1) Fixed the weird, blinking seam between grass and infield dirt in all stadiums except: RFK (dark line above seam), Kauffman (no "sgra" file - the file that controls seam), and Create-a-Stadium (weird light-green line that appears in parts of seem even in unmodded version). Also, SBC park is still a little strange due to the high contrast between the dark grass and the very light infield dirt - I didn't want to change the unique character of the field by reducing the contrast, but it is still an improvement over ver1.0. 2) Improved the pattern and texture for RFK significantly. I think it looks great and is a big improvement, but there is still a problem with the seam between grass and infield dirt as noted above. 3) Improved the pattern and texture for Skydome. 4) Improved the pattern and texture for Tropicana. Some people might not be crazy about this one, but I think the change does better reflect the matted look of Fieldturf at the Trop. *******Very big thanks to Trues and paulw for the idea and info about adjusting stadium grass and texture to help reduce shimmering. TYVM guys.******* Instructions for installation are included in the readme file. This fix should not interfere with any other mods u have on on your stadiums, but USE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND REMEMBER TO BACK UP YOUR FILES. Please post your comments and suggestions in the "universal grass changer v1.1" thread on the forums - screenshots will be posted there also. raindelay7

  2. Crowd Changer v2.5

This mod will update all 30 MLB stadiums in MVP Baseball 2005 to feature home team fans. The crowd (both 2D and 3D fans) will wear t-shirts, caps and jerseys of the home team to give the game a more realistic look. For expample, if you play the Phillies against the Cubs in Chicago, the crowd will wear blue colors and Cubbie logos. However, if you decide to let those two teams play at Fenway, the crowd will wear Red Sox colors, since the stadium is in Boston. Enjoy! IMPORTANT: Please backup your entire stadium folder before installing this mod! It's better to be safe than sorry... ---------- NOTES ---------- Special thanks go out to The Big O (Fenway Park and Oriole Park fans) and stefreco (Busch Stadium fans) for letting me use their 2D and 3D crowds, and to TribeTime for his Tropicana Field 3D fans! I didn't change anything, as their work had already been outstanding. Thank you, guys! Also, I would like to thank krawhitham, for supplying me with dds files and creating a new installer for the project. Without his help, I would still be clueless when it comes to installing 3D fans properly. Thank you very much! Look for future updates of Crowd Changer on http://www.mvpmods.com! xiberger

HDR_Bloom_Mod_MVP_v1 August 4, 2008 ________________________________________________________________ To install: Copy d3d8.dll to MVP directory Copy enbseries.ini to MVP directory Choose from 4 different settings. Preview images for each type incliuded to turn on/off ingame hit Shift+F12 To uninstall just delete the two files form your MVP directory. compatible with MVP 04 and 05+ versions ________________________________________________________________ HUGE THANKS! Vorontsov Boris Ivanovich for ENBSeries v0.005 DX8 beta http://boris-vorontsov.narod.ru gtguy01 for this discovery ________________________________________________________________ Description- Enables Bloom effect in MVP games. Aimed at making the game more realistic and less cartoony in my opinion. I tried to optimize all the comfig and remove unused effects. Change log version 1 4 different configs A. Kccitystar- Good overall bloom, not too bright, default saturation setting. Colors truest to original. Reccomended if you want to keep colors as modders intended. B. gtguy01- similar to my rolie setting with slightly less bloom and dark gamma correction C. rolie- The setting I like at the moment. A lot of Gamma correction darkening and no overstauration. Kinda blends all the differnet colors of different mods. D. rolie2- This is kind of mixture of KC's setting and mine. Think of it as KC's version with the no saturation setting on. E. your settings please experiment and share your configs. From readme_en.txt SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Videocard with support of Shader Model 2.0 or better. Videocards in the list below may fit: GeForce 6100, 6150, 6200, 6600, 6800, 7300, 7600, 7800, 7900, 8500, 8600, 8800; Radeon 9500, 9550, 9600, 9700, 9800, 300, 600, 700, 800, 850, 1300, 1600, 1800, 1900, 1950, 2400, 2600, 2900, 3850, 3870. I can't guarantee that mod will work on all of them by many reasons (different drivers, hardware reduced versions and just because not tested myself). ENBSeries (current version) will not run at all or will not work properly if hardware by any reason not support minimal requirements of the mod. Videocards with lower shader versions capable to work in theory, but they are too slow, no sense. Videocards of new generation (DirectX10 compatible) in common cases works much faster in this mod, than their performance equivalents in DirectX9 games. The requirements to videomemory size are very high, depends from screen resolution and antialiasing, for example without antialiasing in a mode 1024*768 it cost 64 Mb of videomemory, and for 1280*1024 106 Mb are necessary. Operative memory and processor play an insignificant role, though all should be balanced.

  8. Pro Human Vs CPU Sliders

These are my Pro Sliders for Human vs. CPU play. Many hours day/night went into testing these (post patch #2) to get the most realistic sliders I could come up with. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Keep in mind they haven't been tested for CPU vs. CPU as I don't play that way. Please see Readme file for game settings as well. Good Luck and if you want to actually play close realistic games and not blow away the computer, these might be the sliders for you!

  9. Field Changer v.1.2

v.1.2 : Yankee Stadium - Removed dirt from coaches' boxes and on deck circles Jacobs Field - Touched up patterns for day and night versions Dodger Stadium - Fixed missing texture in day version v.1.1 : Fixed issue with dirt in AT&T Park Various color adjustments made to the following stadiums: Yankee Stadium (day & nite) U.S. Cellular Field (day & nite) McAfee Col./Cisco Field (day only) Petco Park (day & nite) This mod will update the field graphics for all 30 MLB stadiums in the game. Both the infield dirt and grass have been changed for all stadiums and certain ones have a recolored warning track and on deck circles etc. All modifications that were made should closely resemble the correct colors for that particular stadium. The most important thing about this mod however, is that it is low-res meaning it shouldn't cause memory issues and that it is 90% shimmer free, a huge improvement over the original EA grass. The MVP 07 mod is required for this installation and can be downloaded at MVPMods.com or EAMods.com Before installing remember to backup your entire stadium folder in the MVP data folder. To install run the field_changer.exe and follow the instructions as prompted. All questions and comments should be directed to the Field Changer release thread on MVPMods.com Donations for the efforts put into this mod are very much appreciated and can be sent via Paypal (jtrea81@roadrunner.com) The modders for this project are as follows: Trues - modder for all NL parks The Big O - modder for all AL parks Compmaniac - complier and installer creator Special thanks to raindelay for his original Grass Changer mod (a great idea that has now been expanded upon to be even better), Pirate and hyman for the permission to use parts of their mods and to the beta testers at MVPMods.com. Thanks again guys! Enjoy!

  16. Ron Mexicos Progression mod

This mod will allow your player progressions to be altered. Younger players evolve quicker, players degrade as they age. Talent continues to stay in the game now and it regenerates itself. Stadiums have new sliders done. Contracts now allow for long term deals to be signed by players, depending on what age, and what level of talent they are. Now also, minor leaguers sign for cheaper. Older players settle for short term deals as well. Now in the latest update, all things for rookies have been updated, so the talent level coming into the game is much better. Please leave feedback and comments on how to improve or if you just think the mod is cool. Or if you think I am awesome The thread is http://mvpmods.com/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=23004&highlight=progress.big
