  2. Firstbaseman's Mitt

    And big thanks to bartw and Marcus for creating the other gloves in the fglv.fsh. Thanks also to rossmac7 for keeping the firstbaseman glove issue alive (rossmac7 please do a version of your excellent fb mitt in extra glove slot) I have reshaped the mitt by creating invisible space with an alpha, and I have put the mitt in it's own slot (6) so you will not have to worry about non-firstbasemen using the glove. There are some minor problems with mitt that have to do with making parts invisible - some may feel it looks way too small from certain angles, but overall i think having something closer to a real fb mitt in game is a lot better than having a fingered glove. Also, the other gloves in the fglv.fsh represent imo the best of created gloves and include: slot 0: bartw's brown/black Wilson slot 1: bartw's tan Easton slot 2: Marcus' black Rawlings slot 3: Jitter's gray/black Wilson A3000 slot 4: bartw's black Mizuno slot 5: Jitter's brown TPX (this is the glove that will be used with the old time unis. If you want to have the original glove in this slot make sure you install the fglv.fsh included in the "B" folder.) slot 6: firstbaseman's mitt See readme for installation instructions

  6. Ghostrider's Pitchers & Correct Pitches - AL East Edition

    These pitch lists have been collected via scouting reports from FOX Sports and ESPN, among other sources. I have also consulted with individuals who closely follow specific teams and pitchers. Pitch movements and velocities have been included for many, but not all. I did not intend on including pitch velocities and movement initially, but I changed my mind, so please bear with me as I research further! Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this project. Please remember that your added support and donations keep this project alive and updated and allows for the possibility of future projects that will further enhance the MVP Baseball experience. It is possible that this information could be incorporated into a roster file in the future, so stay tuned for that possibility. Most of the pitch lists should be spot on, except for lesser-known pitchers who may bounce between the majors and minors. If the response to this project is strong and everything goes well, I will include any minor-league pitchers that I can. If you find an inconsistency in these pitch lists, please post it in the thread along with the reason you think it should be changed and include a source if possible (website, scouting report, etc.).     Back up your existing loadXX.big (XX being numbers) files if you don't want to lose them. Extract the loadXX.big (XX being numbers) files from the archive to your MVP folder/data/frontend/ folder C:/Program Files/EA SPORTS/MVP Baseball 2005/data/frontend for those who did a default installation of MVP. Click yes, when asked whether to overwrite the existing file.

  9. Spring Training Schedule 2006

    JWClubbie's Spring Training Schedule ---------------------------------------------------- 9/10/2006,17:04,My Computer......... The schedule is accurate from March 5th until April 1st. The game will not allow game to be scheduled before the 5th or after the 1st of April. For the Exhibition games for Atl vs CWS and Phi, Bos, Ana, LA, SF, Oak, I scheduled Doubleheaders for the 1st of April. I was able to schedule the select AAA vs. Major League Spring Training games with only one issue, when you view the days games on the calender, it crashes to desktop, so I left them off. The games were playable, and able to be viewed after the game was played, it was just not abe to viewed the day of. If anyone has a solution, I will change this. Split Squad games are playable as well. Please send a message with suggestions/complaints/complements.

    Instructions Simply copy the .256 extension file of your choice into your directory MVP Baseball 2005 folder. Example: C:/Program Files/EA Sports/MVP Baseball 2005 Then simply run the game and enjoy! -note: ignore the thumbs.db files. IMPORTANT NOTE: It may not work, as we are still experimenting with different results. If you only see a small white square in place of the splash, simply delete the .256 file in your MVP Baseball 2005 folder, and it should go back to normal. Thank you for your cooperation.
