  1. Rolies Pitch Selector 2005

Rolie Pitch Selector For 2005: With a new installer for 2005 from FUZZONE (Thanks fuzzone). Here is an Updated version of Rolies Pitch Selector for 2005. Thanks to FUZZONE for the great new installer he made me and Rolie for his great work with the original mod. The great thing about this installation is that it will not overwrite any custom overlays you may have already installed into the game. It makes a new file that incorporates Rolies Pitch Slector with whatever you have updated (overlays) into MVP 2005. For Installation instructions view the included read me. (Rather lengthy because I wanted to make sure everyone would understand).

To install: Just extract the moon.fsh file into the MVP Baseball 2005/data/misc/textures folder and overwrite the old file.
WARNING: Be sure to back up the file you are replacing!!!!!!

  4. Adjusted Speed ratings

MVP 2005 speed Ratings Adjusted chart by murph4thehall I made this chart to adjust speed ratings because I thought the original rosters had too much of a discrepancy between the faster and slower baserunners. You need Microsoft Excel 97 or better to view this file and MVPEdit to make the changes. How to adjust ratings in MVPedit using the chart: 1) open the global edit interface 2) Find POSITIONAL PLAYERS ONLY with the speed rating listed on the chart replace the old rating with the new rating. IMPORTANT!! You must start at players with 70 and progress through to players with 39 (slowest), and then go back to players with 71 and work through 97 (fastest). IF YOU DON'T DO THIS YOU WILL RE-RATE SOME PLAYERS AND YOUR ROSTERS COULD BE INACCURATE! I edited Spanish Flys roster using my chart and in the few games I've played with the new ratings I am seeing closer plays at first, more double play break-ups, and more runners taking extra bases. It works awesome in the minors where the speed ratings were generally lower. If you use this, REMEMBER TO BACK UP YOUR ROSTER FILES in case you don't like what you get.

  9. Caps Font Fix 2005b

All MLB teams have been updated...except Anaheim, Boston, San Diego, Milwaukee, and Philadelphia. EA got those right. All BP/Spring Training jersey numbers have also been updated (with the exception of those EA did correctly). Most numbers have also been given a shiny finish to replicate the tackle-twill used on most unis. Again...if you're doing fantasy jerseys and want some custom colour combos for your font, please let know. I'll be gald to get to ay requests when I have time. Feedback is always appreciated. Cap'n

  14. Pro Human Vs CPU Sliders

These are my Pro Sliders for Human vs. CPU play. Many hours day/night went into testing these (post patch #2) to get the most realistic sliders I could come up with. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Keep in mind they haven't been tested for CPU vs. CPU as I don't play that way. Please see Readme file for game settings as well. Good Luck and if you want to actually play close realistic games and not blow away the computer, these might be the sliders for you!
