[TB] David DeJesus
By hidecap
There's no any other pictures of DeJesus's TB Portrait.
It was the only one that I founded..(which look straight foward and wear TB's gear with)
So,..originally pictures quality may not good.
but anyway,..It fits well in the game.
Enjoy

13 updated Yankee portraits
By MarkB
My first portrait mod. Updated portraits for Aarom Baldiris, Tyler Clippard, Juan Francia, Steven Jackson, Jeff Kennard, Ross Ohlendorf, P.J. Piliterre, Cody Ehlers, Shawn Garrett, Noah Hall, Alan Horne, Brett Smith and Francisco Cervelli. They are not works of art by any means, and will probably be torn to pieces when the next Total Portraits set comes out, but until then, these are better than nothing...at least in my opinion! They really are very quick and nasty, but they work. See the screenshot for an idea of the quality and bear in mind the degradation due to JPEG compression - if you like them, download them and enjoy. If not, don't bother, and don't start complaining. To install, simply import the files using EAGraph, bigGUI or whatever else you want to use. I've been using EAGraph to import the files, and I've not run into any problems, but let me know if you have any and I'll see what I can do. Peace, Mark B.

1971 A's Team Portraits
By Guest
Here are the 1971 A's Team Portrait Set. I know normally you upload the whole database set. I'm trying to work at the whole 1971 Total Conversion set. I have A LOT of work to do on that yet, so I thought that I'd upload the portraits and uniforms awhile. There's a few of my pics that I'm not happy with that came from baseball cards so when I see a better one, I will re-upload the set. I tried my best to get the players in their 71 uniform so that it would match better with the 1971 season. There's a couple like Odom and Locker that I didn't find yet. If you have any questions or requests for pics from the early 70's let me know by pm ing me. Enjoy!

1971 Astros Team Portrait Set
By Guest
Here is the 1971 Astros team portrait set to go along with the uniforms that I uploaded earlier. Technically, they all will be included in the TC (Total Conversion) 1971 that I'm working on. I still have some uniforms, tweeking, and stadium details to work out yet so I thought that I'd upload these as well as I go.
Enjoy!

1971 Cardinals Team Portraits
By Guest
Here is the 1971 Cardinals Team Portraits. I thought that I'd upload these awhile along with the uniforms so folks could enjoy them awhile. Again, I'm trying to complete a 1971 Total Conversion set but it's going slow. In 1971, Lou Brock led the NL with stolen bases, Joe Torre in hitting and RBI's, and Steve Carlton was 3rd in wins with 20. Ted Sizemore was one of the best #2 hitters especially behind Lou Brock. The Cardinals came in 2nd in the NL East with 90 wins, 7 games behind the Pirates. I'm disappointed that I couldn't find more non-baseball cards, but this is it. I want to thank stecropper and Jim825 especially for their help with the TC1971 that I'm doing and all the initial modders who started this site. Enjoy the set.

1971 Detroit Tigers team portrait set
By Guest
Here is the 1971 Detroit Tigers team portrait set. I wanted to upload these portraits prior to me finishing the 1971 Total Conversion since it might be awhile yet. The Tigers would begin to threaten the Orioles for the AL East in 1971 but would not quite attain the top position. In 1972 after the trade that sent Frank Robinson to the Dodgers, the Tigers would barely win the AL East from the threatening Red Sox. The mustached A's would beat them in 5 for the AL Pennant. Veterans from 1968 like Norm Cash, Willie Horton, Al Kaline, and Mickey Lolich, and newbies like Aurelio Rodriguez, Joe Coleman, Ed Brinkman and Fred Scherman in the bullpen would allow the Tigers to challenge in 1971.
Enjoy,

1971 Kansas City Royals Team Portrait Set
By Guest
Here is the 1971 Kansas City Royals team portrait set. I thought that I would upload the uniforms and portraits awhile so everybody can at least enjoy them. I still have quite a bit of work to do on the 1971 Total Conversion.
I don't want to sound like a clanging symbol, but I want to again thank Stecropper publicly for helping me to get involved with doing MVP 2005 mods. I'm really enjoying doing these and helping some people out with the same favorite years of MLB as I like.
Thanks,

1971 Orioles Team Portraits

Here are the 1971 Orioles team portraits. I'm working on the whole 1971 Total Conversion so it'll be awhile until I can finish so I thought that I'd upload the portraits and uniforms so you guys can enjoy them awhile. I know that you guys like the whole database files at once but like I said, I want to do this right so I thought that you guys can at least enjoy these things right now. There are some of the photos that I uploaded that I'm not happy with so when I get better ones, I'll re-upload the set. I want to thank again stecropper and all the rest of those that initiated the mods and tools for improving MVP 2005. You deserve a 21-gun salute!!!

1971 Philadelphia Phillies team portrait set
By Guest
Here is the 1971 Philadelphia Phillies team portrait set. From 1970-72, the Phillies would be the doormat of the NL East. Young players in 1971...Larry Bowa, Greg Luzinski, a VERY lucrative trade during the off-season (1971-72) of sending Rick Wise to the Cardinals for Steve Carlton, and rookies coming up in the the next couple seasons (Mike Schmidt, Bob Boone,...) would propel the Phils into the NLCS in 1976-78 and win them a World Championship in 1980.
Enjoy!

1971 Pittsburgh Pirates team portraits
By Guest
Here is the 1971 Pittsburgh Pirates team portraits set. The 1971 Pirates dominated the National League. They beat the NL West Champs SF Giants in 4 games and then beat the Baltimore Orioles in 7 games. One of the key players in 1971 was Willie Stargell who led the NL in HR's with 48, had 125 RBI's and batted 295 besides. He also led with SO's with 154. Steve Blass, Dock Ellis, and Dave Giusti were leaders on the mound. Although Ellis had 19 wins, he didn't win the big one. He got the loss in the 71 All Star Game and was the victim of Reggie Jackson's moonshot that hit a light transformer on the roof of Tiger Stadium (and it was still rising), he pitched mediocre against the Giants in the NLCS and lost the 1st game of the World Series in Baltimore. Danny Murtaugh didn't use him during the rest of the Series. Roberto Clemente won the Most Valuable Player of the World Series, but I differ with the ones who proclaimed him the winner of the award. I'm NOT discriminating against him but Steve Blass should have gotten it instead. As Casey Stengel said, "...just look it up!" He stopped the Orioles "steamroller" cold! The Orioles won 11 in a row at the end of the season, beat the A's 3 straight in the ALCS and the Pirates in the 1st 2 games in Baltimore with 16 runs to 6. In Blass's 1st start in Game 3, he gave up 1 run on 3 hits and struck out 8. That 1 run was a solo HR by Frank Robinson. In game 7, Blass gave up 1 run on 4 hits and struck out 5. That's dominating pitching! Clemente had a high average but he only went 1-4 in game 7. He went 4-9 in the 1st 2 games that the Bucs lost. Don Buford, Brooks Robinson, and Elrod Hendricks had a .300 average or higher in the losing cause. Clemente had a HR and a triple off Jim Palmer in Game 6 but they lost 3-2 in extra innings. Amos Otis had a higher average (I think.) in the 80 World Series against the Phillies but the Royals lost in only 6 games. In the 1st inning of Game 4, the Orioles scored 3 off of Luke Walker, then they brought in Bruce Kison and from then on through Game 7 the O's only scored 4 runs and 3 of those were in the 6th game. The baseball saying, "good pitching stops good hitting" was VERY apparent during the 1971 World Series.
Thanks,

1971 Player Portraits-Part 1
By eskie01
Here are some 1971 player portraits. Some could be better so if I can either improve upon the current one or find a better photo of the same player, I'll add it to Part 2 of the 1971 Portraits when I get those organized.
The way that I install them is to go into the MVP editor and make sure that the season file in the editor is pointing to the data folder in the 1971 game folder or wherever any individual wants to use them in the options of the Tools heading in the editor itself. Go to the appropriate player's line and click on the square box under that player and click on add picture and find where you put Dick Green for example and select his portrait. Then click open at the bottom of the screen and then you'll see the editor again with the new photo in the left square and then click ok. The new portrait should appear now in its player's square. If there's a portrait already there, use the delete function to the right of where you see add a new picture. If you have any questions, send me a note and I'll help you with this.
Enjoy the portraits...I'll be adding part 2 of these in the near future.

PS: These samples that you see are just a tip of the iceberg...there's many more in the actual zip file.

1971 Reds Team Portraits
By Guest
Here is the 1971 Reds team Portraits. I still have quite a ways to go until I complete the 1971 total conversion. I thought that I'd upload the uniforms and portraits as I complete them so you guys can use them awhile. I want to again dedicate, humanly speaking, my mods to "stecropper" my tutor for taking time to help me get started in modding for MVP 2005. I want to also thank the guys like him who laid the groundwork for modding the game.

1971 Washington Senators team portrait set
By Guest
Here is the 1971 Washington Senators team portrait set. They, like the Phillies, were the doormat of the AL East. During the early 70's, the MLB only had a total of 24 teams (12 in the AL and 12 in the NL). With this number of teams, even the "doormats" still had a few decent players. The Senators in 1971 was no exception. Frank Howard, Del Unser, Dick Bosman, Paul Lindblad, and Toby Harrah were decent players and if they played with teams such as the Tigers, Red Sox, Yankees, Cardinals, Cubs or Dodgers, they could have given those teams the boost that they needed.
Enjoy!
