By krawhithamThe Total Installer Thingy will install most any type of file. It takes as input .7z, .zip, .rar, .tit and .ace files.
Make sure to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package and .net framework pack first.
Extract the TiT installer from the .rar file. When the installer finishes running, it will copy the file tit.exe to the Program Files\EA Sports\MVP Baseball 2005. If you wish to run TiT from a different folder, simply copy the tit.exe file to a different location.

All you need to do is fill in the necessary statistics, and the program will calculate the batter's ratings, for MVP Baseball 2005.
This tool now has the highly sought-after import/export to file feature. This allows for mass rating generation.
Here are what the abbreviations stand for:
AB: At bats
HR: Home Runs
RBI: Runs batted in
BB: Walks (Base on Balls)
SO: Strike Outs
SB: Stolen Bases
CS: Caught stealing
GDP: Ground into double play
SH: Sacrifice Hits
SF: Sacrifice Flies
IBB: Intentional Walks
Stats can be found at Baseball-Reference.com, which you can find a link to in the program.
Please read the readme and follow the instructions. </i>

Version 20 **CURRENT VERSION**
- New bunting and steal aggressiveness formulae.
- Fixed bug where if a batter had no walks in the Import/Export mode, it would crash.
- I created a brand new speed formula. Really digged the result. Also, if you're interested in 2010 speed ratings, click here.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the exportation of righty hot zones. If anyone noticed, it was exporting only lefty HZ's but calling them righty.
- Improved split estimation.
- Improved split estimation.
- Added a name check in the csv generator.
- There was a bug in the HR% formula. Fixed it.
- Baseball-Reference added minor league handiness to a player's name (# or *) which meant I had to update the CSV generator (as of March 10th 2010)
- Reverts back to MLB on reset
- Improved the GB/FO/LD/HR% formula
- Improved the split estimation formula
- Ver19.1 fixed a small bug where the FO% vs. left wasn't displayed on screen
- Improved the platoon split estimation in both the actual interface, and in the inputBatting Generator spreadsheet
- Fixed a bug where the GB/FO/LD/HR% wasn't calculated correctly
- Fixed a bug with right-handed batters' platoon split estimation
- Added platoon split estimation in the Batter Rating Caluclator window NEW!
- Added the <b>import/export to file feature</b>NEW!
- Included inputBatting Generator.csv to generate inputBatting.csv NEW!
- Added batter tendancies (i.e., Spray chart info, Groundball vs. R%, Chase/Take/Miss, etc.) NEW!
- Fixed a few bugs pertaining to HotZones and bench-player penalties
Use this program to determine a pitcher's ratings. This program calculates movement, control, velocity, and suggested trajectory for each pitch. It also calculates the pitcher's stamina rating.
For more information, please read the included readme.
If you have any questions, please ask them <a href="http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?showtopic=36536" target="_blank">here</a>, rather than PM me. Chances are someone else has the same questions as you do.
Version 12 (Current Version)
- Improved formulas for movement and control
-Fixed a bug where for pitch control and movement were being rated too high.
-Fixed a bug where for some really strange reason, it was randomly assigning a pitch if none was selected for the third pitch.
-Improved some formula
-Fixed an oversight in the Pitch Type Database, where if there were two pitchers with the same name it might choose the wrong pitcher. I took out the duplicates that were "less famous."
-Fixed a small bug where knuckleballs weren't being assigned in the random function.
-Fixed a small bug where if a pitch wasn't selected for the second pitch, it would assign everything to zero's if you clicked "Calculate" once, but if you clicked it again, it would calculate the pitch as a change-up. Now it just calculates it as a change-up the first time.
-Fixed a bug with the Import/Export feature and the new stamina formula
-Fixed a small bug where if the third pitch selection was null, it would still assign ratings to it.
-Added a second stamina formula. NEW! You can now choose the classic MVP-type formula or a more accurate formula. The MVP formula is the one EA's developers used and used in my calcualtor since the start. The Accurate formula is more representative of how I feel a pitcher performs. A closer will now have a rating in the teens or twenties (approx 10-29) rather than in the 40s.
By compmaniacThe tool will also create a backup file of your current mvp2005.exe as mvp2005.exe.bak so if the program screws up, you can revert back to your old settings. Just run the installer and follow the simple instructions. http://mvpmods.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=15410/highlight=widescreen.html ***** Tool made by tywiggins ***** (Most of the hard work was done by tywiggins) Installer assembled by compmaniac

This program calculates a player's fielding, range, throwing strength, and throwing accuracy.
All you need to do is fill in the necessary statistics, and the program will calculate the player's ratings, specifically for MVP Baseball 2005.
The calculator will also estimate the innings played, if the user does not input inning data. This is useful for when calculating minor leaguers, as finding innings played data is just about impossible.
==The Import/Export Feature==
Included in the .rar file is a sample inputFielding.csv file. DO NOT RENAME OR EDIT THE FIRST ROW.
Just enter the statistics under each corresponding column:
You can use Excel or many other spreadsheet programs, or use notepad and separate each stat by a comma (,), to enter your stats.
If a fielder's innings played is unavailable just enter 0.
Stats can be found at Baseball-Reference.com, which you can find a link to in the program.
Defensive formulas are hard to create, and I think I did a pretty decent job. Enjoy!
Version 12.13 **CURRENT VERSION**
-Improved innings played formula for when the info is unvailable.
-Included the inputFielding Generator. This Excel Worksheet allows you to paste statistics from the web, and it will automatically generate inputFielding.csv (needed for the Import/Export function of the calculator.) New!
- Included a column for a players' organization, making it easier to find a player.
-Improved some formulae
-Included the highly sought after *Import/Export Feature* New!
By RichKoRevision history --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.9.5 - Changed League dropdown to links for Firefox compatibility - Fixed Firefox issue with League Home pages - Cosmetic changes to AA and A league home pages (font size) - Changed some text in Navigation Bar to allow for more space - Added K/9 and BB/9 to Team Leaders on Team Home pages - Added K/9, BB/9, and WHIP to Team Stats and Pitchers pages - Sortable stats now use background shading correctly on re-sorts - Team batting and pitching stats now correctly show ALL players who accumulated stats for that team during the season NOTE: Traded players will continue to accumulate stats for their old team until they register a plate appearance or batter faced, as EA does not correctly create a new (blank) history record for the new team once a player is traded. - Added BB, SO, TB, SF, OBP, OPS to minor league batting stats - Updated injuries list (only one unknown remains) - I have added code to the program to display a message when the unknown injury is encountered - Added option for "No Photo Available" placeholder photo (nopic.jpg in PlayerPics directory) NOTE: The "nopic.jpg" isn't showing up in IE, but it works in FireFox. I can't seem to figure out why. - Added injuries pages for league and teams --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Send bug reports and comments, etc to MVPSavReader@yahoo.com or post on the message board at http://mvpsavreader.proboards37.com
This program generates a random schedule for MVP 2005. If you're tired of playing the same schedule year after year, this is for you.
- Generates three (3) random schedules to replace the default schedules in schedule.big
- Each team plays in series, just like a real schedule
- Preview the written schedule in Excel
- Choose the Interleague Division Matchups you want
- Remove Interleague Play, if you wish
- Choose the All-Star Game's Home Team (American or National League)
Follow the instructions in the included readme, to generate a new schedule.
- I've also created a version (2.1) that has moved Houston to the AL West, and generates a schedule with the new alignment. NEW!
PLEASE REMEMBER TO BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL SCHEDULE.BIG.
If you have any questions or concerns, just e-mail me.
By fuzzoneThis is the same as 2004 and 2005, and this update supports models.big over 3000 files which means this works for Total Classics and MVP 06 MOD.
By Yankee4LifeIncluded here for everyone's convenience are three little utilities that you need to edit your game. I decided to zip them up here so anyone who wants them can get them in one place. The three programs included here are as follows:
1. EAgraph (The program itself and the help file for it.)
2. Ditty Importer (wimpditt.exe) where you can customize your own jukebox for the game.
3. LocLook (loclook.exe) where you can edit the in-game text to your own choosing.
By MarkBLocLook 1.0
I did not create this file, or have anything to do with any part of it. I am simply submitting it to the site for the users.
This program is used to edit LOC files supplied with EA Games. I believe it was first created for a FIFA game, but it also works with MVP Baseball 2005. You can use it to change pretty much any text that is shown in menus, such as jukebox titles, stadium names and messages etc.
The layout of the program is as basic as it gets. If you can't figure out how to use it, delete it and move on. You are not worthy of having the program on your PC. Thats really how simple it is.
Thanks to biker_jim_uk for advising me of the existence of this program and to the original creator of the program, whoever it may be, for creating the program in the first place.

The Major League Equivalency Calculator (MLECalc) estimates how a batter would have hit if he was batting in the big leagues. It does not, however, project how well a hitter will hit. It took me a VERY long time to accumulate statistics and find a correlation between Minor and Major Leagues! Abbreviations are below: G : Games AB: At bats R: Runs H: Hits 2B: Doubles 3B: Triples HR: Home Runs RBI: Runs batted in BB: Walks (Base on Balls) SO: Strike Outs SB: Stolen Bases CS: Caught stealing GDP: Ground into double play HBP: Hit-by-pitch SH: Sacrifice Hits SF: Sacrifice Flys IBB: Intentional Walks Please write a review, with ANY suggestions or comments!

By jupagolabHere are the tools:
-EA Graphics Editor
- Added Minor League adjustment (Note: Single A pitchers seem to have a higher stamina than Double A pitchers in the game, and therefore in this calculator)
- Improved formula, the correlation is at approximately 95%!
- Now, when you click on the RP position, the calculator sets Games Started (GS) and Complete Games (CG) to 0. (They can be changed, just by editing them)
- Now resets to MLB, when the "Reset" button is pressed
Please write a review, with ANY suggestions or comments!
By SharpshooterThis is a selctor that allows the user to easily choose which type of TV broadcast to use. (Fox, ESPN, etc). It includes the overlays and music. I take no credit on the overlays nor the audio. I am only providing the selector in .bat form which is easy to edit and small in size. I included the overlays and audio for ESPN and FOX to get you started. Once again, I take no credit for the overlays nor the audio as stated in the readme file.
By iansimcoxThis tool makes it easy to overwrite EAs broadcast music with music of your own.

By RichKHere are the issues fixed by this patch: Corrected age computation on player pages and team roster Added injury #16 (thanks, Ty) Fixed stats issues created by deleted players in player offsets file (custom roster fix) Added "Player not in file" descriptor for any player not found on team stats page To install this patch, you must have a previous version of MVP SavReader installed (preferably 1.9.5). Simply replace the MVPSavReader.exe file in the directory where you installed MVPSavReader with the 2.1.0 update version.
