I keep getting a "Run Time Error '6' Overflow" everytime I try to create a page for the MLB standings. I went through uninstalling and reinstalling the program and got the same result, is there a way to get around this and be able to create MLB standing pages?

Thanks for the help kamasutra but still it doesn't work. I give up for now, i'll wait for a new version of it. It's a cool utility ot have but i can live without it, altough a stats geek. I have OOTP and Baseball Mogul for that purpose.

Hm, some utilities for OOTP which create html reports need Netframe to work. I don't have that installed, maybe that's the reason for the problems? I haven't downloaded it yet 'cause is 20MB's (i'm on 56k) and i don't know if it is the solution yet.

Kam's solution of installing to the default directory fixed the run-time error for me for the xbox file. My only problem is that I need the owner mode to work :) ..

fyi, for those using a modded xbox, the file is located in E:UDATA45410056 ...

Good work regardless and i can't wait for the owner mode so I can use it.

What am I doing wrong here? I installed the program as I was supposed to, without a hitch. I selected the options that are shown in the screenshot, but when I click on "import .sav file" I receive this error:

I'd guess that you didn't change the .ini to look at the correct disk and folder...

For example, here is the [Files] section from my .ini:

[Files]

PS2Roster=F:Program FilesMVPSavReadertestps2r.sav

PS2Dynasty=F:Program FilesMVPSavReadertestps2d.sav

PS2Owner=F:Program FilesMVPSavReadertestps2o.sav

PCRoster=F:Program FilesMVPSavReadertestpcr.sav

PCDynasty=F:Program FilesMVPSavReaderDyna1_Dynasty.sav

PCOwner=F:Program FilesMVPSavReadertestpco.sav

XBoxRoster=F:Program FilesMVPSavReadertestxbr.dat

XBoxDynasty=F:Program FilesMVPSavReadertestxbd.dat

XBoxOwner=F:Program FilesMVPSavReadertestxbo.dat

As you can see, I've changed mine to look in F: rather than the default C: because all my stuff is installed on my 'F:' drive, not my C: drive.

Also notice that I changed the path for PCDynasty, so that it reads my dynasty save file, not the 'testpcd.sav' that RichK initially set it to. I've copied and pasted my dynasty save into the /MVPSavReader folder. It also works if you set the path to correctly find you dynasty save in it's default location, which should look something like this:

C:Documents and SettingsYour Name HereMy DocumentsMVP Baseball 2005

Or F:Documents and Settings...etc... in my case.

That just may be it. My default drive is H, so that is evidently the issue. I'll try it out once I find the time and let you know if it solves it. Thanks

RichK - This is a suh-weet program!!! Thanks so much for all the hard work. Looking forward to the next release.

ps - I was getting that runtime error '6' cause I had no idea where my .sav file was...after reading the posts on page 1 here, I realized they were in the My Documents folder. I never even knew I had an MVP Baseball 2005 folder in there. Yes, I'm an idiot. :) Thanks again! It works great for me now.

I second that! Dont hold out on us bro!

Well, I was able to import an Owner Mode season by simply telling the SavReader that it was a dynasty. In other words, I changed the path in the .ini for PCDynasty, to read:

PCDynasty=F:Program FilesMVPSavReaderDyna1_Dynasty.sav

Then I copied and pasted my Owner Mode save into the folder, and renamed it to Dyna1_Dynasty.sav...

The next thing I'll try is simply this:

PCDynasty=F:Program FilesMVPSavReaderOwne1_Owner Mode.sav

and see if that works.

I'm not completely sure what the implications of this are, or if we are missing out on anything because it thinks it's a Dynasty rather than an Owner Mode season, but it's working for now.

I spoke too soon...it allows you to import it, but I can't create any pages, I'm getting "overflow" errors.

Well, it won't create League Standings, or League Leaders pages, nor will it create Team Home Pages...but everything else seems to create okay.

The only other thing I've noticed so far is that it's showing the regular season as 2004, and the playoffs as 2005 (I'm in the midst of the playoffs now).

That is my dynasty page.

It takes ~1mb of space per 25 players if you export player pages.

Each League's full rosters AND every team's pages take ~5mb minus the LEAGUE schedule(my host size limit is 300kb(league schedule is 303kb =/).

I use 50webs to host my files.

1) Open your dynasty

2) Check server instead of local

3) League->MLB->Check all EXCEPT schedule

4) Create League Pages

5) Team->Select teams->All Teams In Selected League->Check everything

6) Create Team Pages

7) Team->YOUR TEAM->>Players->Select All

8) Create Player Pages

Just make sure you setup your host first so you can edit the server page settings in the .INI file before you export the pages.

Then you just upload the .css files AND Players/Rosters folders to your directory on the FTP.

To get the Team logos: Go to yourteam.mlb.com->Roster->Minor Leagues Index->save the images you need.

Upload those images to your main folder on the FTP(Same folder as the .css files)

Then create the Following HTML File and upload it to the directory with your image and .css files:

<HTML>

<Head>

<Title>YOUR TEAM 2005 MVP Dynasty</title>

</head>

<body background="Any BG Image You Want" text="white">

OK, I get a runtime OVERFLOW error "6" anytime I try to output minor league pages. It ALWAYS happens as soon as the program starts to compile pitching stats. NEVER happens on batting, always happens on the first team that it tries to compile pitching stats for.

Well according to the read me the PC version should work.

Yeah, it says that, but I can't get it to work. It just hangs at historical data.

I sort of got it to work by renaming my Owner Mode save to a Dynasty, but there are a few pages that cause crashes when creating.

I did it the same way and it didn't crash for me
