I just tried to install patch 3 for mvp2004 for and I get an error that says old file not found and it won't allow me to install the patch. Do I need to reinstall the game? big shmooz Posted May 31, 2005 Share Posted May 31, 2005 cool. However in the future if this happens, all you need to do is back up your roster files before installing a different roster. Then if you need to install the patch, just put back in the old rosters first. There are also some people who change their MVP2005.exe. The original needs also to be in the main MVP folder in order for the patch to work. So back that original file up also if you removed it. Btw... just for your info, if you remove it, the patch update will be no good, since the changes of the patch are basically in the MVP2005.exe file.
