Box Score Extractor

I have a dynasty page on DynastyManager.com, and I've been PMing ty back and forth, and one thing I've been wondering about is whether or not it is possible to get the codes from the boxscore to be able to to make it into a table. The codes (and table) meaning this kind of code:

<table border=2 cellpadding=2 cellspacing=0

body background="" align=center bordercolor="000000">

<tr><td colspan=6><center><font color=white><b>Tonight's Matchup</b></center></font></td></tr>

<tr><td colspan=3><center><font color=white><b>Glavine</b> (0-0), 0.00 ERA</center></td><td colspan=3><center><font color=white><b>Harang</b> (0-0) 0.00 ERA</center></td></tr>

<tr><td rowspan=5><center><img src=""><center></td><td><center><font color=white>1</center></td><td colspan=2><center><font color=white><b>G</b></font></center></td><td><center><font color=white>0</center></td><td rowspan=5><center><img src="" align="right" alt="Jamie Moyer"></center></td></tr>

<tr><td><center><font color=white>0.0</center></td><td colspan=2><center><font color=white><b>IP</b></font></center></td><td><center><font color=white>0.0</center></td></tr>

<tr><td><center><font color=white>.000</center></td><td colspan=2><center><font color=white><b>OBA</b></font></center></td><td><center><font color=white>.000</center></td></tr>

<tr><td><center><font color=white>0</center></td><td colspan=2><center><font color=white><b>K</b></font></center></td><td><center><font color=white>0</center></td></tr>

<tr><td><center><font color=white>0</center></td><td colspan=2><center><font color=white><b>BB</b></font></center></td><td><center><font color=white>0</center></td></tr>

<tr><td colspan=6 align=center><marquee align="center" behavior="scroll" direction="left" scrollamount="3" scrolldelay="10"><font size=2 color=white><b>Great American Ballpark, April 5, 2006-- New York Mets @ Cincinnati Reds, 8:10 EST</b></td></tr></table>

Does anyone know how I can find the code for the BSEexpress boxscores?

I have it so every pitcher on both teams lose stamina. Pitchers at 100% stamina do lose stamina, but after you advance to the next day, they will be back at 100%.

I think the problem that you're showing is that sometimes you went to the next day, and sometimes you didn't. With the exception of game 4, all of the other games that you have a pitcher colored in red are the last game of the series. These games usually have earlier start times, so that the teams can travel for their next series.

The problem is that you were checking the stamina before you advance to the next day on those days. On the days when your mlb team has a night game, the game automatically advances to the next day before you checked the stamina.

I'm not seeing this. Perhaps I did something wrong? I finish my game, run the BSEexpress, see that everyone's stamina takes a hit. Advance to next day, and everyone's stamina is at approx. 1/4 of their max, even those who did not pitch. Non-used starters are not regaining any stamina whatsoever, even after playing 2 or 3 more games.

Any ideas? My boxscores come out fine. I didn't change the default numbers in the stamina.txt. I'm starting games and no one has available stamina above 30.

Those are the numbers I am using.

I'm exiting out to the screen that gives you the choice to see box score and quit. I then run the program once. Check box score, etc. Then I exit out of that screen, back to the main menu and then when I advance to next day, or to play next game, no one's stamina ever goes back up. I've done this for four or five games, and now my starters have stamina of 23, 25, etc. Bullpen is even less, even for those I never used.

The box score is wrong in that players who come into the game and replace another guy are listed as PH instead of the position they play. While this shows correctly in Fielding, it is wrong in the hitting section.

The box score opens with my browser, Firefox, and saves each game in a folder. There are two folders in there with one being for the other team. Is there a way to have just one folder for my team? Can that PH thing big fixed?

Anyone have any suggestions? If the bullpen and stamina could be fixed I would not give up on this game.

Thanks.

Is is possible to save your game then go back and get the box score? Because when i minimize my game to get the box score my computer sometimes freezes.

It may work if your game is the last game of the day (including minor league games). You would need to modify the schedule (edit schedule.dat) to make sure that your game is the last game played.

is that possible? i think it only shows the line score then.
I believe it works as long as yours is the last game.

One thing you could do is appoint a shortcut key that when you press it, the box score will be generated. Ty had included this feature in his latest update. He provided detail instructions on how to set it up. That way, you wouldn't have to minimize the game.

Take a look at that i extracted the box score and these are the names it generated it is suppose to be the noraml reds and cubs. I used the shortcut that tywiggins produced. Anyone know why its like that?

You are running the program at the wrong time. The last chance to run it is from the "Final Score" screen, where there are two buttons, "Box Score" and "Done". After you press the "Done" button you won't be able to get the correct information.

When i was on that screen i clicked box score and then ran it and that is what it did.

i dont think i did but maybe, also should i give it some time after i run it so it can proces eveything?

That's the only thing I can think of.

It finishes in less than two seconds. So in normal usage, you shouldn't have to wait. (Going from the keyboard to the mouse usually takes me a few seconds at least)
