I will just be using him as a reliever because he only has 2 pitches. So until Cruz gets back ill using only 4 starting pitchers. Roy31 Posted May 31, 2006 Author Share Posted May 31, 2006 I have 7.2 M in cap space. Bob Wickman has a Phat contract worth 4.8 M and I noticed that when I traded for him. Thats probably why they dealt him to me for not a whole lot. Wickman has 4 good pitches and his best being a sinker which I can run up on in batters hands. Right now I like the position im in with the team despite being 1 game under 500. I think I've improved my team quite a bit without giving up anything, I got me another pitcher for the rotation and a solid relief pitcher. My lineup is all healthy and hitting good. Right now on my team theres only one player that I could see myself getting rid of and thats Shawn Green. 10M contract and hes not that great of a fielder. He doesnt have any really standout attributes but he is good. Made a few great throws from right field getting outs at 2nd. Webb Vs Oswalt should be a beauty!
