Bay is having a great season for you so far, but it seems like all of his HR's are solo. How many RBI's does he have?

Yea alot of Bay's homeruns are solo shots but he is still having a phenomenal year batting .400 (9th) with 9 HR's (1st), 19 RBI's (2nd), .400 OBP, .843 SLG% (2nd), and 5 SB's (8th).

Pitching = Dreadful; C. Wilson Has Excellent Night

game193et.png

Game Summary:

From the first pitch of the game nothing went right for the Pirates. In teh first inning alone Victor Santos gave up five runs. And things did not get any better from there as Santos was chased in three innings pitched giving up seven runs. Ryan Vogelsong came into a tough situation in the fourth inning when the bases were loaded with no outs. He struck out the first two batters he faced but then lost it as six runs were scored. The one slight light in the pitching was Paul Maholm pitching four innings of relief giving up only two runs. It wasn't all bad for the Pirates though as Craig Wilson had his stick going hitting three homers in the game and four in the series. "I just was seeing the ball clearly tonight, and it also helps with the short porch in left," said C. Wilson after the game.

Bucs Win & Take 2 of 3; Snell Continues Dominance

game206po.png

Game Summary:

The Bucs and Stros finished off the series witha thriller going down to the last pitch. Things were pretty regular, back and forth baseball until the eighth inning. Things started off with Jeremy Burnitz grounding out but got crazy from there when Jose Castillo got a single. Castillo then stole his league leading ninth base but Astro coach Phil Garner did not agree with the call and got ejected. Ronny Paulino came up and grounded out to the second baseman, but advancing the runner. Roger Clemens, who pitched pretty well (8IP, 4R, 2BB, 2K), intentionally walked Pokey Reese to face Pirate pitcher Ian Snell. Jim Tracy continued to work his magic as he made the right call to bring in Sean Casey to pinch hit, and he hit a two run double. Those two runs turned out to be pivotal as the Astros scored in both the eighth and ninth innings. Ian Snell continued to pitch well going seven strong innings and picking up his third straight win. Mike Gonzalez also picked up his fourth save of the season.

Bucs Bats Come to the Rescue; Perez Gets Shaken Up

game214vp.png

Game Summary:

Things started off fast for the Cards but turned very quickly to good fortune for the Bucs. Said Jack Wilson after the game, "I'm just seeing the ball well right now and racking in the hits, it's awesome." Jack Wilson is currently hitting fifth best in the league at .422. The Bucs added two more runs in the eighth when Jose Hernandez hit a two run single. Oliver Perez had his poorest outing of the season (5IP, 4ER, 0BB, 2K) but he did keep his ERA low at 1.25.
