Just recently switched over from the ps2 game to the pc version once i found this site and saw all the mods for the game, Great work by the way!

So figured i'll start a dynasty hopefully i'll get some followers.

Schilling was dominant early on which lead to a first game shutout over the Texas Rangers, In victory the Red Sox lost CF Coco Crisp to a hamstring pull which occured on a 6th Inning hit saving catch off the bat of Ranger Shortstop Michael Young.

The Red Sox sent Gabe Kapler to Triple A - Pawtucket and Called up Outfielder Adam Stern.

[align=center]April 3 2006 - Boston Red Sox @ Texas Rangers[/align]

This game pitted Josh Beckett against Adam Eaton, It didn't take long until Boston blew the game wide open behind an impressive 5 for 5, 5 RBI effort from David Ortiz, Adam Eaton was chased early on in what led to a 2nd consecutive shutout of the Texas Rangers.

Adam Stern was impressive in his first start going 3 for 4 with 1 homerun and 3 runs scored, Josh Beckett went the distance scattering 8 hits over 9 innings with 5 strikeouts.

Boston completes the sweep of the Texas Rangers with a 12-1 rout behind stellar pitching from Tim Wakefield & 2 Homeruns from Trot Nixon.

In the Next Series Boston rolls into Baltimore for a 3 game set with the Orioles who are currently tied with the Sox atop the AL East with a 3-0 record.

Thanks, Toying with going to All-Star mode i played a few games prior to UR 7.1 on the same settings to test the datafile and had some good games 0-0 in extra innings, Now i seem to have the pitch timing down pat scoring to much, Too many hits gotta make some adjustments to keep the excitement in the game ;)

The Red Sox rolled into Baltimore riding a 3-Game Winning Streak to face-off against Division Rival Baltimore who also was riding a 3-Game Win Streak.

Baltimore quickly took the lead but Boston fired back putting up 10 runs in the first 4 innings, Baltimore shot back down the stretch and nearly issued Boston it's first loss on the season but Jonathan Papelbon shut down the O's rally for his 1st save of the Season.

The Red Sox came into the game seeking their 5th straight victory but the O's had other plans as the Red Sox sent young lefty Jon Lester to the hill against Daniel Cabrera.

Lester was chased by the 3rd inning after getting shelled for 8 Runs, The Red Sox bats were silenced by Cabrera, The Sox managed to score 1 run off the bat of Manny Ramirez in the form of his 2nd homer of the season.

In the rubber match Sox Ace Curt Schilling got the nod versus Adam Loewen, This game was a pitchers duel early on until the Sox got to Loewen in the Top of The 6th after loading the bases up came Jason Varitek who delivered for Schilling & the Sox with a huge Grand Slam.

Javy Lopez spoiled Schilling's quest for his 2nd consecutive shutout but he still picked up the win behind Keith Foulke's relief effort which earned him his 1st save on the season.

The Sox much anticipated Home Opener ended in what some Sox fans wish then can forget quickly, The Sox sent Josh Beckett to the hill opposite Toronto's A.J Burnett.

Beckett was hammered which led to his early departure to hefty boo's, Then the Sox gave the ball to Jason Johnson to try and silence the Jays bats which wasn't on tonight's agenda as Johnson was also hammered.

In the end the Jays would ride on to a 17-0 shutout blasting of the Sox at Fenway.

The Sox come into the 2nd game of the series hoping to not fall victim to a repeat of last night's game, Early on this game was a pitcher's duel between Tim Wakefield & Ted Lilly, However the Sox bats finally came back from vacation and the Sox were able to hold off the Jays to win the game.

The Sox got homers from Trot Nixon, Manny Ramirez twice & Kevin Youkilis but the Jays made a run at the end however Papelbon was able to close it out for his 2nd save of the season.

reminds me of my own red sox dynasty, where josh beckett gave up 10 runs or so to the orioles :cry: just got shelled

In the rubber match Toronto got out on top early off a Shea Hillenbrand bomb, Boston quickly countered in the bottom half with Manny and Tek going back to back to give the Sox a 3-1 lead..Then all hell broke loose..

The Jays would manhandle the Sox pitchers shelling them in the end for another 17 run debacle, Overall the Jays outscored the Sox 38-9 for the Series one which the Sox & their fans are likely to not forget.

The Boston Globe is reporting that the Sox placed Longman Jason Johnson on the trading block and are looking to acquire another arm.

The Red Sox came into the game hoping to rebound off a disasterous series versus the Jays, Jon Lester was sent to the hill opposite Jamie Moyer for the M's.

Lester looked good in the first 2 innings then like clockwork crumbled in the 3rd inning and left with earning his 2nd loss on the season.

The Sox continue to drop in the A.L East Standing dropping 3 of 4 to the M's in another disappointed series, The Boston Globe is reporting the Sox will take the N.Y Mets up on their trade offer to acquire Longman Jason Johnson by accepting a deal that sends Mike Pelfrey to the Sox in exchange for the struggling Johnson.

Matt Clement looked real good early on until he went down with a Torn Left Shoulder Muscle which will take Matt out of the rest of the season, Jon lester came in and earned his first victory with a good effort out of the pen to preserve the lead.

The Red Sox will call up Lenny DiNardo to take over the Long Relief Role and put Jon Lester back into the 4th spot in the rotation, Craig Hansen was also called up and Manny Delcarmen was sent down to Triple A - Pawtucket.
