I'm planning on releasing a series of uniforms over the next little bit, starting with the Devil Rays. Here are some pics of the completed D-Rays uni's version 1.0 But a few things first... 1) The design was all fastflink2009's he made the design, posted it, and I took that design and made it into the actual jersey. 2) The shoes included in this are not of my creation, they are spungo's work. The only thing I changed on them was a little bit of coloration. 3) The wristbands are 100% mine, when I release these uni's in the future, the wristbands will be better, but for now it's just a plain blue wristband with black stripes. These will be uploaded asap, should be tonight. So without further adue..... Mav3rek Posted August 19, 2006 Author Share Posted August 19, 2006 as for the red sox jersey, yes i will be making one, but i currently dont have one in the works, the only reason the yankees is next is because it's 95% done. spungo--the texture is one I created, but I'm not sure if you'd actually call it a texture. what I did was just take a 64x64 new document, color it the blue color. Then with both the foreground color and background color the blue color as well (i'm actually not sure it needs to be that way) I went to filter, noise, add noise, selected gaussian and monochromatic and then just chose the ammount of noise to add, I think it's something like 3.48% or something to that effect. Mo- I am planning on releasing a giant mega-pack at the end of all of this, but i'm still planning on releasing them individually as well just in case some people don't want every jersey. The next one like I said before will be the Yankees. It's about 99.9999% done, I just have to fix the wristbands now. I'm putting the yankees logo on them (not the NY but the other one) and just have to work out the placement. Screenshots will probably be up tomorrow and I'll upload them tomorrow as well, I'd finish it today, but I'm getting ready to leave for the day. These have no changes made to them though. 3) The wristbands are just plain black that I came up with. Originally I was gonig to put the Yankees logo on them, but it wasn't working out well, so they are just plain black now. If there is a 2.0 release they will be the new wristbands. So I decided to create it, and add it to the game. It's still in the development stages, but doesn't need a whole lot more work, if there is enough interest once I'm done then I'll release them. If anyone notices anything wrong with them feel free to tell me so I can correct and upload a fixed version. Included will be the jersey .fsh file, and the jersey preview .fsh file. Mav3rek Posted February 7, 2007 Author Share Posted February 7, 2007 well, now that I have those uni's done for now. I'm going to try and delve back into stadium modding again. I finally got spring training stadium #1 to work as an editable file in Oedit. For some reason it was giving me a heck of a time. So basically what I want to do just to start out is move the left field wall back so that the wall behind it with the chain link fence is the left field wall. This would create a HUGE left field, but this isn't really meant for playing, just messing around with it before trying to create fantasy stadiums or something. Basically this wouldn't be a homer anymore This wall would probably dissapear, or it would take the place of the wall behind it. I know this is my release preview thread, but this is just to help keep track of time, and progess while allowing everyone else to see and if people are interested in it and want it I can post it for them to download. Mav3rek Posted February 10, 2007 Author Share Posted February 10, 2007 Here's a quick update with some new pics of the stadium I'm messing around with. This is currently spring training stadium number 1. I've sucessfully moved the left field wall back to where the chain-link fence behind the actual wall is now the new wall and is in play. Also center field has changed a little bit and has a nice little diagonal wall in center. I've tested this many many times and have only seen one homerun thus far and that was a blast to left (no not down the line) by A-Rod. Jason Bay came a close second but his shot died in left center at the wall, and it went 436 feet. It's kind of a fun field to play at. It could end up being a hitters dream b/c right field is so short that it's easy to hit a homer, and left field is so huge that it's easy to get doubles and hits. The first pic is Jason Bay's long blast that died at the wall. I'm planning on making the right field wall more like a green monster type wall, but I'm not sure yet. Mav3rek Posted February 13, 2007 Author Share Posted February 13, 2007 My plan is to start a dynasty with the Marlins, but move them to another city, with a new team name and jerseys and stadium and all that jazz. Here are pics of my stadium, probably about 50% complete now, and pics of the new jerseys the Marlins will be sporting. Many many many many thanks to Homer and The Big O for their help with some of my problems I've encountered during this.
