It wasn't working for me at first either...

But this is what I did and now it works...

1) Delete the controller.cfg file

2) remove the USB reciever unplug the remote and then plug it back in

3) open up mvp and make sure it recognizes your wireless controller and then save the configuration.

4) paste the following into your controller.cfg

profile= Controller_(Xbox_360_Wireless_Receiver_for_Windows)

device= Controller_(Xbox_360_Wireless_Receiver_for_Windows)

player= 1

number_of_buttons= 10

number_of_povs= 1

number_of_axis= 5
