grandma Posted October 15, 2009 Share Posted October 15, 2009 I have been playing MVP 08 forever and never had a problem with online IP to IP play. Suddenly, this weekend, when I play online the game is very choppy. Nothing has changed on my computer. There are no new programs installed, nothing out of the ordinary. Internet is smooth and fast. Other online games play great. The game plays smoothly offline. The person I've always played with online has just installed his MVP 08 on Windows 7. This is the only change that has occurred between our two machines. We've narrowed down the online choppiness issue to pinpoint my friend's Windows 7 as the culprit. We can play smoothly online when he plays MVP 08 with his XP computer. However, when using his Windows 7 install, the play is choppy...but on my end. On his end, things are fine. Very odd.
