There are 2 folders One for those that have Tys roster editor and one for those

that dont. There are 3 methods to installing.

Tys Editor Instructions

U can install these into the main mlb 2k12 folder and they will not overwrite any file.

Open Tys editor and import the info from the text file included. These unis will have

the correct color codes

Normal Install instructions

WARNING BACK UP ORIGINAL FILES as these will overwrite the originals.Unzip into

the main mlb2k12 folder.Start game these will NOT have the correct color codes because

of the way 2k does their files

Generic Mod Enabler(use the files in the normal install)

This is the best way for those who dont have tys editor and dont want to over write the originals.

Download from http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/software/products-jsgme.html

and follow thier directions.Once installed there should be a folder called *MODS*

Inside this folder u can create another folder. For example if u just want national league

modded unis name a folder NATIONAL LEAGUE and place my unzipped uni files

inside this folder.Start the enabler and choose the folder that has the mods

then start the game and the unis should be available. If u want to revert back to the originals

then just shut down the enabler again these will not have the correct color codes

On march 9th 1995 the owners voted to award 2 new expansion clubs, one to tampa florida

and the other phoenix arizona to begin play in 1998.On that same day the team name and logo were announced.

The colors were officially known as purple, teal, black, metallic copper and white. The teal and copper

were inspired by the arizona desert and purple was Jerry Colangelos favorite color.

It was soon apparent that purple was a difficult color to deal with as matching shades

across different textures and fabrics such as helmets caps and jerseys was almost

impossible. In many pictures the colors appear not to match at all. This would later be the reasoning

for changing the color scheme in 2007.

When the logos and colors were first introduced the team was scheduled to wear

2 caps,home(white/purple)and road(black/teal) but this was chabged before a game

was even played,as 2 more caps were introduced. The new all purple cap became the home

and changing white to an alternate option. The teal/purple was another option.

The jerseys went thru a few changes as well before the team took field. The original

versions called for copper pinstripes and an A logo on the front

The team identity began to take shape as buck showalter was named manager on

november 15 1995.The american league manager of the year in 1994,showalter had

just taken the yankees to the first playoff appearance in over a decade but was replace

by joe torre.Showalter would have much influence on on field appearance such as requiring

to wear traditional stirrups, banning facial hair although exceptions would be made once they aquired randy johnson

in 1999.Another of his ideas was to add the A logo on the socks.By this time the home

jersey was changed so much that they will eventually wear"diamondbacks"written

across the chest and purple pinstripes replacing copper.

These are the away alt 1 and cl2 unis. They are from the 1998 alternate unis and the 2001 alternate
