OK, I understand that you can just place a datafile you download into the main MVP Baseball 05 directory, but here's what I don't understand: if you haven't installed a custom datafile yet, how do you edit it? I want to use the datafile that came with the 06 Final Update. I understand this is Kraw's datafile, correct? However, the most recent datafile I see that's been updated in the download section was from months ago. I imagine that Kraw has tweaked his settings since then... All I want to do is remove walk-up music and remove the picture in picture foul swing replay. How can I do this -- while keeping the same data settings I have now -- RIGHT AFTER a fresh install of '06, with no custom datafile in my directory... The only file I see is datafile.BIG, and that looks different in the editor I'm using. xiberger Posted October 11, 2006 Share Posted October 11, 2006 The datafile.txt is inside the datafile.big file. You should be able to extract it with EAGraph. Then open it with the decompress/compress utility from the downloads section and apply the changes you want.
