Datafiles include slider settings?

I download the Kumula datafile just the other day and was wondering if it included slider adjustments or if they were built in the gameplay somehow indirectly?

I was thinking about making some slider adjustments in my Dynasty, and I see when I go into Pro they are all at '0'. But if the datafile is already doing this, i don't want to multiply the effect.

If anyones datafile includes slider adjustment, would they show up when you went into the slider settings menu?

A datafile is independent of the in-game sliders.

People usually download a datafile and then tweak the sliders to their liking. Kumala has some PRO sliders for his final datafile. They can be found at:

Some of us have used Hoop27's sliders with Kumala's datafile. Those can be found: http://www.mvpmods.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=...ght=kumala.html

Might want to give those a try and then tweak to your liking/playstyle.

Thanks. Followup question:

I see that with the sliders referenced, they say they used x's sliders with y's datafiles with the MVP 07 mod. What if I am using plain ole MVP 05? Were there gameplay changes made to MVP 07 that would make the slider/datfile combination totally different between 05 and 07. I have already started a dynasty in 05 and like my '05 Twins and don't want to switch.

You can use any datafile in '05, '06, '07, & the as yet unrelased '08 Mod. I'm using a Maddies' Daddy datafile which was made for '05/'06 with the '07 mod. Getting some very good games.

Just experiment and play around till you get something you like.
