How do you permanently adjust defensive alignment?

Greetings Baseball Gods,

I have an annoyance that I can't figure out. Every damn time I face Carlos Beltran, my outfield has him played way in, hitting away. Given his speed, there is no way in hell I want to have my outfielders playing that far in.

While I can adjust this everytime he bats, is there a way around this?
