girishch Posted August 23, 2008 Share Posted August 23, 2008 Hi, i've been trying to use the xbox 360 controller for PC to play MVP 05 but been not able to correct this problem.The button 'X' on the controller always brings up batter's stats and the batting team line up instead of the desired function assigned to it.Tried copying and pasting a lot of configs but all have the same problem for me.Any help would be great.Thx. untouchable408 Posted August 29, 2008 Share Posted August 29, 2008 I had the same problem too, until I downloaded 08 mod and pasted the controller layout from another thread and it worked. I still can't get any of the other mods (phase 9, 1961,1964 etc..) to work right. The left bumper button LB does what the X button is supposed to do. Hope this helps. But I'm as confused as you as to how it really works. girishch Posted August 31, 2008 Author Share Posted August 31, 2008 The problem arises because of more than one xbox 360 controller profile in your controller.cfg file.Remove all old xbox 360 profiles and paste a new one and it works perfectly..Hope it helps.
