SCOUTING REPORT:

Brandon League (RHP) pitched his forst outing today for the Blue Jays. He allowed 2 hits, one being a 2-R Eric Chavez HR. League looked good though striking out two in his inning of work. League was called up after J. Speier went down with an injury. Reports are that League will be sent back down to AAA Syracuse after the injury is healed. "I think he did well, but he still has some things to work on, the high and inside slider Chavez hit was supposed to be a low and inside pitch, which is a Chavez weakness. He's good, but not quite their yet ... Another AAA man looking up is 2B/SS/C Patrick Smith. After 5 games of the AAA season Smith is 7-13 with a .539 average, with 1 HR and 5 RBI and 3 BB. Smith who could be called up to the Jays several times for either of his three positions is hoping he gets his chance at 2B. "I know he [Hudson] is there and he's young, but I still think we could go him at short and me at 2nd, we'll see how things go, right now though I'm enjoying my time here." The Blue Jays think Smiths first MLB start will be as catcher due to Greg Zauns age and Quirozs lack of true ability.

Just lost 5-0 to the A's horrible game for Pettite, I traded him for Mike Hampton cause I like Hampton, only upside to the game was the Brandon League worked 2 strong innings of no runs and 1 hit

I just found something out, I was playing with my AAA team the Syracuse Sky Chiefs and noticed that I'm great with the Chiefs but not so good with Toronto ... I think this is because I am more patient with the AAA team and I work the counts cause it's AAA, I also hit way more homers, now only if I could get the same patience with the MLB team.

Well, my nxt update will be tonight most likely, if not then tomorrow ... I hate it though I'll play with AAA and hit 2 HRs a game, walk 6 times with the team and win 6-2, 6-3 etc. then I play with the Jays and GIVE UP to HRs a game i dont hit any and I lose 5-0 cause of pitching and me not being patient, even though I'm patient with my AAA team

Very nice. Keep posting. Im reading 8)

One thing i noticed in 2 out of 3 years of my Jays dynasty is the Yankees would linger around .500 for most of the season and then storm back to win division or wildcard. :?

Yeah, why is it that the Yankees are huge sleepers in dynasty mode? It's really annoying because it always get's my hopes up that I won't have to face them in the ALCS.
