Jitter Posted March 31, 2005 Share Posted March 31, 2005 I had one w/ Oliver Perez on pro he had 14K's it was pretty nice. I played a few games on all-star and one thing I noticed was the batters seem to swing at pitches out of thezone more if you got 2 strikes. Normally i get around 10 strikeouts per game w/ 3 or so pitchers. However my hitting is terrible so usually I win or lose in like a 1-0 or 2-1 game. PirateFan13 Posted March 31, 2005 Share Posted March 31, 2005 What sucks is that Id be cruising along and then 1 player would get a hit off of me and then I could throw the ball over his head and the guy would jack it for a HR. Of course I'm exagerating a bit but it seems that they can hit any pitch in any part of the strike zone, out. I get so pissed I just hit the next guy. Its all quite amusing from an outside standpoint I guess. Hey someday Ill make it out of the minors... thetruth10 Posted April 2, 2005 Share Posted April 2, 2005 PirateFan in my experience, if they seem like they're hitting every pitch, even despite perfect location, it's time to get your pitcher out of there. sometimes, usually when your pitcher gets tired, it seems like the CPU activates domination mode, and if you try to leave your guy in there to get out of it, rarely will it work without giving up some runs.
