GoodyBucs Posted May 25, 2004 Share Posted May 25, 2004 For next years version of MVP I would like the option to warm up pitchers before the game, using a live pitcher. What I mean is I would like to warm my starter up, myself. I have trouble in the early innings getting used to the speed of my pitchers windup and how big or small his 'green zone' is (they seem to vary nicely form pitcher to pitcher). Using Roddata 5 makes that green area pretty small so when I head to the mound in the first inning my timing isn't quite there. By the 3rd or 4th I am in much better command of my pitches and usually do OK until I go to the pen then I am in the same boat! I think adding a human 'warmup' in the pen with your starter would be a nice addition. I like playing with the A's and I have less trouble because I have used each starter at least a dozen times, but when I go try some NL pitchers watch out! Do you guys have troubles getting the timing down for your starters and relievers? Would you like this option? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
