Stetson Posted April 14, 2006 Share Posted April 14, 2006 VBL - Virtual Baseball League @ virtualleagues.net We are heading into the post season, and getting ready for our 3'rd upcomming season. We are adding additional teams for season 3; making a total of 20 teams. Trophies are awarded at seasons end each season as well as forums sigs per requests along with award tags. This is an IP to IP league; using MVP05 with the 06mod. We use all 3 patches from EA and an independent datafile for the league with adjusted settings for the most realistic IP-play possible. WE ARE IN SEARCH OF "LONGTERM" OWNERS!!! If not then do not apply! We have removed owners that weren't to make room for those that ARE!!! We play 2 to 3 game series each week. (alternating weeks) For Season 3 we will begin with opening day MLB06 rosters; as to give everyone and new owners a fresh start. Season 3 will be the beginning year for a league franchise, salaries, player progression, Injuries, ETC. Trades will continue to be a part of the league as well. We have a number of teams available, if an OPEN team is not listed, then you have an option to swap an available team out for one that you would like. All of our season and game STATS are kept by using MyStats.com. Head over to the website and signup with the site. At the menu on the left is where u can sign up for the VBL; under: JOIN VIRTUAL LEAGUES. Under VBL PAGES, you can click on the VBL Owners list to see a list of available teams. Make sure to read over the VBL RULES page; as well as the VBL forums (alot of league info there); to make sure that this league is for you. AGAIN - ONLY SERIOUS OWNERS APPLY!! Theres way too much work involved and not fair to the other owners in the league for those not committed to play their part! Thanks for your time! Rosters will be based on UR's6.3 Rosters; and will be using MD's datafile with a few adjustments for league IP play. Looking for dedicated owners look to stay for the long-term. Working on a database where, we can import actual played stats for a season. For example, say with one of my players, after 5 games, I have a .315 avg with him (batting in realtime ip games); this will be reflected with each roster release each week. showing him to have that avg. and show each time he goes up to bat. This being for EVERY player of course, and their actual #'s i put up with them; in real-time. Funny thing is my wife is the one working it up.
