snepp Posted May 3, 2006 Share Posted May 3, 2006 Did you read the documentation that came with the mods? They're pretty good about telling you how to install them. You want to do the Livin Large mod first. This is from the install.doc. With the LL version the easiest way is to double click the MVP06.exe file, it will pop up and ask where you want to unpack the file, choose the root of you MVP 2005 folder and click OK. It will then ask if it is ok to overwrite the files click YES FOR ALL. The root is "C:Program FilesMVP Baseball 2005". Then install the Ultimate Rosters. This is from the readme... Place the .dat-files in your mvp baseball 2005/data/database folder. Choose "yes" when you're asked to overwrite. That's it, good luck. I would suggest your friendly neighborhood Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUsa or another fine computer accessory retailer. Personally I found mine at Circuit City....it is a rather useful gem called the Saitek Digital Gamepad. Set up much like a PS2 controller for the Pc for about $15-20. It works great for Madden, MVP 2005 and other fine computer games/sims. If so, save it to your desktop. It's probably easiest in the sense that it will then appear on your desktop. Then as mentioned here, download a utility that will open the file. You can download either winrar or winace. Both of them will open rar files. You then extract the files with this program. Where to I am not sure, since I have not downloaded this program. But I am sure the readme tells you where to extract it to.
