Help with a couple more little things...

TwentySeven

Recommended Posts

OK, I have two problems with game playability and two questions.

I'll start out with the questions...

Sometimes, I see the CPU batters nudge themselves a little bit either way, how can I do that on a keyboard when I am batting?

Also, what are some realistic sliders I can use for the game?

Now the two problems, I am very unable to get homeruns and strikeouts, and I am playing on the easy setting, too! I need advice on how to hit the ball out of the park and K them more.

The CPU seems to be able to K me and hit HRs fine, but I am unable, and it leaves me a little overmatched in comparison.

Thanks for help in advance,

TS

Question #1: I'd have to look it up, and that would be too much work for this post after what i've already done for question two and the rest... you'll see in a sec :)

Question #2: Use the forum search button, type in sliders, and look for a thread (which i believe is stickied) labeled (imagine this!) "sliders". in there, theres a big discussion and tons of different sliders... its a personal preference, and you just gotta experiment with them until you get it right for you...

Your gameplay issues will be solved when you apply the sliders... in other words, use the sliders to fix your gameplay issues

heres the link to the thread that gives what each slider means: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?name=Foru...ghlight=sliders

i think youll find that its best to just figure out your own

edit: i shortened the pic

Actually, I searched for sliders, but I came up empty as it would go in baseball. :p

dude i didnt jump all over him... do you not see the lol in my post? and he even responded with an lol... please read whats posted before whipping off some smart alleck remark... you're the one jumping on me... i was very polite to him... much more than many people are on this site... and hey at least i helped him... didnt see you helpin out here

well he posted the lol right while i was posting so i didn't see that, check the timing, one minute apart, and all i'm saying though is that people don't have to be smartasses just to show somebody up that they didn't search, it would be much easier to just answer their questions.

Fastflink2009, not that it really matters, but jhath was referring to the "lol" in HIS post. Not the one in TwentySeven's. Therefore your post was in fact posted seven minutes apart. He was actually telling you that the "lol" in his own post was meant to show that he was not getting on TwentySeven's case.

alright but just in general i think we should all calm down and remember its just a website and that it won't hurt to just answer someones question.

OK, I am still getting problems with realism.

I'm playing as the Yankees...

When I play at the pro level, I get a ton of base hits and runs, and no home runs.

When I play at the All Star level I get no hits and they hit well off of me.

I have tried about three different sets of sliders at both pro and all star, but I'm not getting anything.

At pro level, I get so many hits I'm unbeaten, and six games in the season I have a total of 69 runs.

At All Star, I have a total losing streak and I lead the league in runs allowed. I also have the least runs scored.

Can anyone help me figure out how to add realism?

Part of it has to do with your approach to hitting. If you want hits you gonna have to sacrifice some outs. I look at it this way, the pitcher can't hit every spot so wait with your big hitters on inside pitches because on All Star they make about one mistake pitch per batter. Use the hitter's eye and jsut be patient.

Edit: Wow, terrible English, "you're gonna." As long as I'm at it "you're going to." :p
