Is it possible to change the id of a previously created FSH file.

i.e (8000, 8001 etc....) to other numbers without re-creating the whole file again????

If possible could someone please explain in detail.

Would be greatly appreciated

find a hex editor

load the fsh

find the old ID (twice once in the first line of the file and once in the last line of the file)

change the old ID to a new ID

change the file name to match the new ID

i use textpad. you can find it using any search engine. it is a trial download or you can purchase the full version. there are two instances that the number needs to be changed in the file. Use "replace" under search on the toolbar in textpad. there you will be able to type in the current number and the number you have to replace. remember, you will need to do it twice and then save the file. it is easy for me to use and pretty straightforward.
