Out of the Park Baseball, Puresim Baseball

I've been wanting a good baseball management game for a while now. Something that has a system as close to real baseball as possible in terms of free agency, player management, etc. I played Baseball Mogul 2007 and it was OK, but not very satisfactory - I mean, you couldn't even choose how many pitchers or position players to carry on your team - the game picks for you! The minor leagues in the game are pretty sad as well - you don't have to even field a complete team at any other level. So I was wondering if anyone here plays any of these games and could offer a suggestion?

Well, OOTP5 is free now, and I think its awesome. I havent tried any of the new ones yet though.

OOTP 2007 which has just been released is outstanding. I've played every version of the game since v1 back in 1999 and this one is just head and shoulders above any other game I've ever played.

Never played Puresim, but OOTP is great. Played it for years, and there are some great online leagues out there.

I've played Puresim as well, it is a good game but IMO just does not have the depth, etc that OOTP has.

OOTP all the way. Played every version since the first one.
