I am looking at MVP Edit & I see that I have 164 players in the free agent list & none are duplicates. Are you in dynasty mode? If so, did you start fron scratch using my rosters? Can you please tell me where you see all these duplicates. What screenshot are you looking at that shows this? big shmooz Posted September 6, 2004 Share Posted September 6, 2004 Very few players are that high. In fact I don't think anybody has a 100 rating. If you find them that high, it may be that their ratings changed in your dynasty. My advice in order to check out if this is so, download the .dat files & install it into the data folder & play an exhibition game. See what the stats look like in that situation & you will get a truer idea of what the players ratings are. As far as pitching speed is concerned, any adjustments I have made in mph of pitches, have been accurate as to what they throw on average. If you feel it is too fast, you may have your pitch speed sliders too high. Try adjusting it & see if that works. Hope this helps. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It is not me, it is your dynasty that released those players from the All Star team to the free agent pool. Try doing that in the game. Try deleting the free agents. I would back up my files before attempting that though. & I am not even sure if it is possible to do that in the dynasty mode. Then when you start a dyansty all players not linked to a real team get thrown in the FA pool. since the all star teams are not used in dyansty mode those players that are listed for a 2nd time get put in the FA pool they are listed once for the team they are on and once for the all star team. They should only be listed ONCE and the roster.dat file take care of the rosters for the all star teams. I can download your last two rosters and fix the problem (it is down outside of MVPedit with a handy little tool called notepad) if you have made any changes to the rosters since your last upload those would be lost unless you want to send them to me.
