What I need to do to install Kumala datafile.txt

but I see in my datafile a file called datafile.big, Kumala datafile is .txt

Not in the datafile folder, but the data folder. The datafile.big stays in that datafile folder and needs to be left alone. Just put the datafile.txt in the C:Program FilesEA SPORTSMVP Baseball 2005data folder.

The .txt overwrites it. The .big file is the original datafile that came with the game. Placing a datafile.txt in your /data folder overwrites it.

Depends on your play-style and what you consider realistic. I would download a couple in the Downloads section and try them out each for a few games. Remember that difficulty level and sliders will play a part as well.

I use Kumala's latest datafile and Hoop's All-Star sliders for my Cubs' dynasty.

I use MD's Datafile with Hoop's All-Star Sliders and I routinely get my @$$ handed to me by the computer.

Any text editor will work. You first have to un-compress it using a program like DFcomputil or eazip. Make your changes then compress it back.
