Expos make perfect start to 94 season Vs Cubs.

Montreal Expos 3

Chicago Cubs 2

Attendance 48,220 Game Time 2:40

Game MVP-Moises Alou 1-3 HR RBI BB K

WP-Scott Stewart

LP-Anthony Young

The Expos started great on the back of Alou's solo shot in the first inning but the Cubs tied the game at 1 a piece in 3rd. Expos defence near threw away the game on 2 throwing errors that allowed Sosa to reach 2nd base and eventually come round to score later in the inning. The game looked poised to go into extra innings following a perfectly executed suicide bunt in the top of the 9th for the Cubs to tie again at 2 but Montreal had other ideas, following a Wil Cordero double, Anthony Young walked Alou and Walker to load the bases and with one out Sean Berry delivered a sac fly to win the game.
