Whenever I try to extract a file from WinRar to my C drive it says "Access is denied". So, I'm forced to extract it to my desktop, and then c&p into my C drive. Has anyone else had this problem with Vista? What do I do? I have Vista Ultimate 64-bit and use WinRAR version 3.71 without any issues extracting to C:Program Files. I have not extracted directly to C drive and see no reason to do so. Pixelated Posted June 4, 2008 Share Posted June 4, 2008 You have to run it in Administrator mode under Vista if you have UAC turned on. Do like BigRog said and turn off UAC.
