I've just gotten a new computer: Dell Inspiron 1720, running Vista Home Premuim, SP1. Intel Duo 2.00ghz, 2GB RAM, 250 GB HD, NVIDIA GeForce 8400M 128MB video card. Now for my problem.... When I install the game, without patches, I can play just fine. When I install patch #4, the game crashes to the desktop as soon as I start to play a game. I want to install the 08 mod, but it says I have to have patch 4 installed. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I've reinstalled the game several times. Same thing each time. And by the way, I strongly recommend that you get those patches installed unless you want to bang into crashing problems. Also, you won't be able to play online with other players who have patch 4.
