I get through my first season, mainly using the Astros 2008 roster as set up by Snash, I added a starter, a setup man, and traded for Cantu. We ended up with 85 wins, and I was happy with the way things were going on my first year of a season. Oh, this was all simmed. A few contracts were up, I was cool with that. THEN the catches start falling on me! 1. NO arbitration?! Seriously?! This screwed me over hard, worse than the contracts that were way off. 2. Okay, so I managed to pay to save my closer (7mil/7 years) and I'm down to about 4 million, AND THEY EXPECT ME TO PAY MY DRAFT PICKS 3mil+ A YEAR STRAIGHT OUT OF COLLEGE?! 3. venn177 Posted March 14, 2009 Author Share Posted March 14, 2009 I have no problem ever getting strikeouts, although the computer does seem to do an amazing job protecting the plate with two strikes.
